Our drive to know.... -

i see a great effort being put forth by black people to learn the truth. one thing that is not being done that has kept us from realizing our potential in this time is unifying our resources. we are a fractured people. scattered in more ways than one.
and like in America when we get to a place where we are enlightened jsut a mite we lose focus what our problem is. there is no doubt in my mind that as long as we continue to blame the white man for all that ails us, and he does have responsibility, and not look within to see what we need to do.
we are doomed to continue in the cycle because we keep him as an enemy and we do not recognize what our weaknesses are that caused us to digress to the point we have.
There is a verse in the bible that says, "and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God and are called..."
As much suffering and pain that we negros in America have endured there has been much good that has finally come forth. the evidence of the lie that 'legitimized' american slavery has been shown to be a lie. a generation of whites who grew up at the knee of slave owners are so psychologically demented by what they have seen that has shown them that grandpa and grandma were liars.
and the whites that knew all along that slavery was not right has been proven to have been right. negros are seated at every level of commerce, education, military, government and any other portion of society all over the world.
We proved that we could learn within what ever system we were attached to. now we are searching for the truth as it is. an arduous journey it is. for the path is strewn with falsities.
the truth is easy to find and difficult sometimes to grab hold of. the fool avoids the truth and runs to the lie.
the proginator of lies always dresses them up to be palatable to the hearer. truth is often bitter and is not comely to look at.
The need to appear correct becomes more important than the truth....JJRousseau]
