Unhappy WHICH CHURCH.. and WHY? - 27-09-07, 11:32 AM

New churches seem to be cropping up every 2 seconds,,,,,,and many christians are finding new reasons to LEAVE their churches each day in search for the TRUTH in another church. Why does your current church work for you?;

Colossians 2: 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

The Choice today is no longer between violence & non-violence.
It's either non-violence or non-existence. Martin Luther King Jr.

in my humble estimate there is no perfect church down here on earth as long as men are over and in them. All of the model churches in the new testament that Paul wrote letters to were having issues. so even in beginning there were problems.

even in the 12 who walked with Jesus there was a dirty rascal and peter. but remember when pete tried to chastize the Lord about Him dying. Jesus dealt with the problem which was not really peter but satan..."get thee behind me satan..."

i have a great pastor who is adamant about teaching us the truth. he labors in the Word and insists that we bring our bibles and read for ourselves. he tells us to read and see if the Spirit of God speaks to our spirit and they agree.

Our main focus is prayer and study of the word.

i guess the best way to explain it is to say that my spirit agrees with it.

Consider yourself blessed to have landed in a good church; I had been attending my church for a couple of years trouble started when we had a new pastor who just seemed to be driving at the PROSPERITY MINISTRY and less of the WORD, I just couldnt stay there anymore, they were other things going on that I was just not happy about. I know Jesus is our example, but I knew for certain I would never grow spiritually there.

you are so correct. the laws of prospering are set in stone. and like the 23 pslams say, goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives.

do the first things first and all else will be added. reaching out to the lost is the prime motivation at our church. we are not a perfect church but through the blessed leadership of our sold out pastor we are damaging the kingdom of hell.

Meknow I had so many questions unanswered about the church, and trying to learn as much as I can about doing things God's way . I have stumbled on a really good website biblegateway by reading the word online.

Bredder Tukoma say:

The righteous woman has the church in her heart. She hath no needeth to enter the right church to have things done for her.. when her actions bear testimony to a clean heart and what she does for others. Surely then the question is asked. What can I do for my church?

Good point Bredder Tukoma, but the role of "church leader" did not apply to me in my case.

the church is not a building footprints. it is a group of likeminded christians who seek to fellowship and strengthen each other by learning the word of God.

you will be sorely disappointed it you seek the perfect church. from the beginning it has has problems, human being unwilling to be lead by the spirit rather than the flesh.

the flesh loves the things of the world, the spirit loves things of God and truth.

I can promise you that God is too powerful to disappoint and leave you comfortless if you are seeking Him.

satan is placing all sorts of notions into the earth realm to distract and confuse men. all tangled in gender and race. the essential part of man the spirit is not even counted. the flesh is what people seek to satisfy.

some one said a few weeks ago about the mega churches. i do not believe that they are God ordained. they do bless in certain areas of a persons life.

but a pastor must be touchable, and God will show him things that he will need to address with people.

25,000 members will dilute the word to a low degree. Don't get me wrong, with God nothing is impossible. but there are enough men of God where no other man has to try and lead 50,000.

jsut my opinion.

Choose a Church that does not keep money in White Supremacist Racist infested Banks and that does not have White people in positions of trust and authority.

All White people are Racist Suspects.

All will learn this painful lesson shortly.

Choose a Church where the people do not try or make efforts to be righteous.

Choose the Church where The Just live by faith.
