cogs Q. What does the Hadith say about Black People? - 30-11-07, 09:16 PM

Answers

Sahih Bukhari Volume 9, Book 89, Number 256--"You should listen to and obey, your ruler even if he was an Ethiopian (black) slave whose head looks like a raisin."

Hadith; vol.9:162,163--Muhammad warned that dreams of black women meant disease was forthcoming.

Hadith vol 1:662; vol 9:256--Black Muslims today are so uninformed that they don't even understand that Muhammad had many black slaves and called them raisin heads

Ishq 243---Africans “annoy.

Surah 9:61--"....have hearts “grosser than a donkey”.

Bukhari: Vol 4, Book 52, Number 137--"...and that blacks should be left to die if injured, and should be denied intercession and entrance to heaven

Arabs (Fard--in particular--who was really just a small-time conman named Wallace Dodd Ford and who brought Islam to Elijah Muhammad) have no love for black people never have never will. The Arab Slave Trade is the least talked about but the most brutal...as the onslaught continues in the Sudan today. Arabs are not to be trusted. When are black people ever going to learn the history of the world so as not to repeat past atrocities especially from the leeches/suicidal mad/men known as Arabs?

Yes, they occupy Egypt, but they are "not" the indigenous people. I know for a fact that these mad-men have changed many Egyptian literary works into their own tongue. If you speak their lauguage then yes you have access to the Greatness of our Ancient ancestors, if not--you don't.

And Diop’s final refutation and reply to Chancellor Williams, Ben Jochannan’s, and Dr. Henri Clarke’s talk of “slave-mongering”, “invading”, “armed hordes” of Arabs swarming over Black Africa and spreading Al-Islam at swordpoint…..

“Much has been made of Arab invasions of Africa; they occurred in the North, but in Black Africa they are figments of the imagination. While the Arabs did conquer North Africa by force of Arms, they quite peaceably entered Black Africa: the desert always served as a protective shield…During the period of our study, from the third to the seventeenth centuries, not one conquest was ever launched by way of the Nile…Nor was there ever any Arab conquest of Mozambique or any other East African territory”[Precolonial Black Africa, p.101]

“Documents now at our disposal permit us to describe in detail the intellectual life of the university, particularly that of Sankore, in Timbuktu….The schedule of courses lasted all day, interrupted only at times of prayer…In Africa the language of higher education was Arabic…The Koran was the principal text to be studied, the one which all others derived. It contained the sum of all that existed: past, present, future, the whole Universe[Precolonial Black Africa p.166,167]

What about the propagandistic theories of the conquering, sword wielding Arab?

Diop states….”The Arab conquests dear to sociologists are necessary to their theories[racist, supremist ideologies] but did not exist in reality. To this day NO reliable historical documents substantiate such theories”[Precolonial Black Africa, p.102]

Default Exposing this ignorant agent..... - 02-12-07, 07:46 PM

This uninformed person is just another 'agent'......

[At-Taubah/Bara'ah 9.61] Among them are men who oppose the Prophet and say, "He is (all) ear." Say, "He listens to what is best for you. he believes in Allah, has faith in the Believers, and is a Mercy to those of you who believe." But those who oppose the Messenger will have a grievous penalty.

Now where did she get this from?

1952....."Surah 9:61--"....have hearts “grosser than a donkey”.

She doesnt have enough emotional intelligence and integrity to even RESEARCH what she posts!

She's insulting the intellect of others and 'fishing' for fools like her......

After praising, and thanking Allah, he said:

O People,
Lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.

O People,
Just as you regard this month, this day, this city as sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take usury (interest, Arabic: Riba); therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity.
Allah has Judged that there shall be no usury and that all interest due to Abbas Ibn Abd al Muttalib (the Prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived.
Beware of Satan for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big sins, so beware of following him in small sins.
Fear Allah concerning women ! Verily you have taken them on the security of Allah, and intercourse with them has been made lawful unto you by words of Allah. You too have right over them, and that they should not allow anyone to sit on your bed whom you do not like. But if they do that, you can chastise them but not severely. Their rights upon you are that you should provide them with food and clothing in a fitting manner. [1]

O People,
Listen to me in earnest, worship Allah, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.
All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over a white - except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim, which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not therefore, do injustice to yourselves.
Remember one day you will appear before Allah and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People,
No prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well therefore, O people, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and the Sunnah, and if you follow these you will never go astray. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listened to me directly.

Be my witness, O Allah, that I have conveyed your message to your people. ”

As part of this sermon, Muhammad recited them a Revelation from Allah which he had just received:

“ This day the disbelievers despair of prevailing against your religion, so fear them not, but fear Me (Allah)! This day have I perfected for you your religion and fulfilled My favor unto you, and it hath been My good pleasure to choose Islam for you as your religion (5:3). ”

Toward the end of his sermon, Muhammad asked "O people, have I faithfully delivered unto you my message?" A powerful murmur of assent "O Allah, yes!", arose from thousands of pilgrims and the vibrant words "Allahumma na’m" rolled like thunder throughout the valley. Muhammad raised his forefinger and said: "Be my witness O Allah, that I have conveyed your message to your people."

A small sin would be on a level of petty racial prejudice and discrimination. A big sin would be genocide or the slave trade, especially as based on race.

It is hard to express in simple terms. True. But, I do not think this is matter of quantity. I think it is more a matter of degree. To hate someone or to prejudge someone based on race is not as severe as it is to commit murder or geneocide. The taking of human life is certainly worse than any subjective feeling of thought. Indeed, action is superior to mere thought. It is one thing to to dislike an African because he has black skin. It is another thing to kill him as a means of oppression.

In this sense, we know some Arabs are almost as stupid as most Europeans when it comes to Africans. But, there is no history of the kind of slave trade that Euroepans committed against Africans on the part of Arabs. Furthermore, Arabs have always known themselves as descendants of Africans through the Holy Prophetess Hagar (Peace and Blessings be upon her). Thus, even to the extent that Arabs enslaved Africans, there is no evidence that the slavery was based on race even before Islam. After Islam, it is clear that racism is not a part of Islamic culture or traditions.

We do not know exactly what Prophet Muhammad is referring to in the Farewll Sermon. But, I think we can assume that he is referring to petty prejudice as compared to racial oppression as we see here in the west. There is a huge difference between prejudice and oppression.
