Default Knowledge of God... - 02-12-07, 09:52 PM

I believe that this part of the forum is dedicated to the knowlegde of God pro or con and not to the self promotion of one's impression of one's intellect as opposed to another.

My intellectual ability is far less than most on here. But I do know that an intellect shines like pure gold, it has a rich aroma and is sightly to the eyes and needs not to be promoted in ones favor.

Knowledge inhances a great mind, and a one which knowledge puffs up stinketh like rotting flesh.

A true intellect does not whince at a man who believes differently because he knows that he is right and the fragrance of the truht will soon attract those that have not the truth.

All men inately desire to know God. At some point we decide that we do not want to or decide to deny Him or we accept Him.

There are not two Gods, three, four or many. There is only ONE God, Jehovah who has made man and the worlds. Man makes gods unto himself, but they speak not nor can they see and they hear not.

Read the bible and see what it says rather than believing clarke and who ever else:

28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: Mark 12:28-32 (KJV)

3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
John 17:3 (KJV)

6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
1 Cor 8:6 (KJV)

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1 Tim 2:5 (KJV)

19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
James 2:19 (KJV)
1 Cor 8:6 (KJV)
