sista i am here only to black people and others in open discussion about issues that shaped our circumstances.
i live in America, grew up in the south. my education is minimal as msfine often points out with my misspelling and grammar. I am 57 years old, will be 58 in a month and a half.
I am absolutely proud of my African heritagem my dad was as black as the ace of spade. my mom could have been set in amonst either the jews or arabs and would not have been discovered.
I have felt the brunt of racism from all sides.
I remember when black studies was the thing in the 60s. Nothing helped me over come the desire to do physical battle with white people then learning who I am and from whence I came.
But what I see from some on here is absolutely appalling. I am sure that some are convinced that what they have discovered the truth and that from what i gather black people are responsible for all that is good and all other races for what is bad,
It is easy to get a faith in something and push it according to google. I don't use a lot of cut and paste stuff and mostly ask questions about what does not resonate in my spirit. this is aggrivating to most i am sure.
but my point is that I do not want to leave a race of mentally cripple black children when i die.
we are one of the races upon the earth. we have had great tymes in history and did great things. the black race is responsible for some great achievements in the history of the world. but we are not unlike any other race as far as humanity goes.
i have to fight race hate in America and then be a part of it. i do not want to leave this for my kids and grandkids. yes i am one, but i will not submit to what i feel is wrong,
sorry about the spelling and grammar sista
