Default Sharia Law - 10-02-08, 11:21 AM

This kind of reminds me of my divorce where solicitors are talking nothing other than what I want to gain financially where I'm trying to tell them I did not marry for money, that's the wifes argument, just take your chains of slavery off my hands and feet and give me back my legal freedom.

But is it me or is the question how many of these Sharia Law led countries could you go to declaring you want your own law? Even if the law is limited to issues of matrimony, surely you go back home to get married and go back home when you get divorced. If your marriage is not recognised by the UK system, how can it then have jurisdiction over it. And the idea of parallel laws, what you simply choose the one which will benefit you best come crunch time?

Still, you got to bow to the strength of unity amongst these asians/muslims, from a collection of corner shops to a collection of houses to a collection of boroughs now the host nation is up in arms talking about them and their own laws.

Their knives and their guns could not hold me, their drinks and their drugs could not control me, their education could not school me, their religion could not fool me, their women could never tempt me
their politicians could never rent me, but the babylon daughter still got my pikney!

I congratulate the people of the UK for having the decency, intelligence and sense of civilization to recognize that more than one system of law exists. And, we in the West from learn fromothers, as ideed, others learn the West.

I have watched in recent years while the right to marry has been extended to homosexuals in several Western countries. Yet, most of these countries do not recognize families formed in the east and in Africa under Islamic Law because they are polygamous. Think how ridiculous this seems. It is legal for two men or two wome to marry each other. But, it is not legal for a man to marry two or more women simulatneously. In other words, it seems preferrable to engage in homosexuality than to engage in heterosexuality.

The least that can be done is respect for Islamic marriage laws.
