Sharia Law -

This kind of reminds me of my divorce where solicitors are talking nothing other than what I want to gain financially where I'm trying to tell them I did not marry for money, that's the wifes argument, just take your chains of slavery off my hands and feet and give me back my legal freedom.
But is it me or is the question how many of these Sharia Law led countries could you go to declaring you want your own law? Even if the law is limited to issues of matrimony, surely you go back home to get married and go back home when you get divorced. If your marriage is not recognised by the UK system, how can it then have jurisdiction over it. And the idea of parallel laws, what you simply choose the one which will benefit you best come crunch time?
Still, you got to bow to the strength of unity amongst these asians/muslims, from a collection of corner shops to a collection of houses to a collection of boroughs now the host nation is up in arms talking about them and their own laws.
