By the same reasoning, we have to conclude that the "Gods" (Elohim) of the Bible didn't really create the Universe as it was already there. Reading further in the first chapter of Genesis, it reveals that the spirit of this God hovered over the waters before erecting the heavens and separating bodies of land. It says nothing about it creating the conditions conducive to water being on the planet, let alone mentioning the creation of the actual planet itself. Since this was the "beginning" for your gods, then it/they had to have been created at some point as well. This invariably means the Biblical/Abrahamic God isn't much of a "God" in the sense of omniscience and omnipotence. Whatever created it/they would certainly be greater than Jehovah/Elohim/Adonai(Aten).

There seems to be no end to the arrogance and condescension of some Christians. My statements had no indications of atheist leanings, yet just because someone rejects the silly myths in the Bible they are labelled by your like as not believing in God's existence. If you knew where I came from, or my understanding of God from an Afrikan perspective, then you would realize how foolish you look making such assumptions. I KNOW that God exists. I am just demonstrating that whatever myths written in the Bible have little to do with the actuality of God.
