Anyhow, if you think I'm wrong then just tell me why without getting the emotional nonsense involved.
i just wanted to know if you could be wrong and me or anyone else right if we disagreed.

Of course we both could be wrong. However, if you already "know" then there is no point of discussing it unless you are in a teaching position. The purpose here is to seek the Truth.

We get confounded trying to get back to Africa. On my first trip to Africa, they asked, "Where's your passport?" I said "I have no passport...I was taken away 500 years ago; and now I'm back."

God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness He called night And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

Thoth,

Come on, this is a valid argument even if you don't agree with the premiss. There is no attempt on my part to confound anything I gave arguments for both sides yet you cannot see that because you have already made a decision based on what you believe. There are inconsistencies in many spiritual books even yours. In that there are still some things within the scope of truth that could have happened even if we don't always agree with them.

Shalom.

How can you construe it to mean anything different?..."there was evening and there was morning, one day." I just can't see how it can be interpretted any other way than there was a period of evening and then morning constituting a day. We are talking about the same Earth we are living on which this "God" was supposedly creating at the time. It isn't that my mind is made up. Introducing grayness where there is none just seems agenda-driven to me.

As for my own spiritual book, I don't have one Jaz...and I never will...

Thoth,

My agenda is to find the truth. Let me say this and then you may see where I am coming from. There are somethings in the bible as well as many other books that I believe because I know that it has been some tampering with so I studied for myself and have found some of the truth. Then there are a lot of things that I don't believe for the same reason. That being said, I don't believe that Heaven and Earth was created in a "24 hour day" , I believe that this was the time frame that the thieves gave because they had no spiritual understanding of time so they gave the set time that they were accustom to. I believe that the people who have tampered with our writings made huge mistakes and this was one of them. In an attempt to steal our history them made a mistake by pretending to know what it was that the Father was thinking when they had no clue. What I believe and accept is truth-driven not agenda driven.

Shalom.

The existance of God can neither be proved or disproved by human knowledge....
