validation.... -

One of the things I am most proud of is my consciousness of being. Although I have never suffered from a complex or felt any less of a being than anyone else and I no less am always taken aback when I see people putting other people down for any reason.
there is no duty in the psyche of man to put another down. in fact the act itself shows a littleness of character. being the gifted person that I am I have always been an encourager. only a few things still hold me back from doing so with an individual, arrogance (a false sense of importance) and people who are nasty to ogthers. I can even over look them being nasty to me, but if gives me a rash to see a feebleminded person talk down to anyone.
having said that, how hypocritical it is to see a person who is always talking about how the white man pushes supremacy against black folk project the same nasty spirited things against a fellow black person just because they disagree with the opposing philosophy.
but happy am i to know that not one human being has to validate me in any way for me to feel good about myself.
you know what is commonly said about small minded people, "they can always be found trying to talk down to those that they assume are smaller than they are."
I have friends who are doctors, lawyers, educators, professionals of every kind...some of them are the nastiest people in the world with all their learing. They have diction, correct verb usage, correct nouns, adverbs and punctuation but they vex every fibre of your nerve system.
and on the other hand there are people I know who have little formal education who are as pleasant to be around as can be found.
certain there are exceptions to the fact.
but no human being is capable of validating another except they are teaching a class or evaluating them for job tasks....
If folk who do not have anything to say would refrain from saying it, this would be a better world... J.V.McGee
