Satan is not an evil principle, an error of the mortal mind, a germ, an abstract power, or a being with hoofs, horns, tail, and a pitchfork, presiding over the lake of fire and the realm of the dead. He is a real person. Jesus dealt with him as such (Mt. 4:1-11; 1 John 3:8; Acts 10:38; Lk. 13:16).
