Default The Son of Man - 17-06-08, 11:57 PM

Bismillaah ir Rahmaan ir Rahiim. As salaamu 'alaikum. There is growing regard for the knowledge of whom (or, what) is The Logos? The Logos, is of the immortals, it is an emanation from the ONLY GOD. The Logos, is our [yours / mine] actual Self/Soul. It supplies certain attributes to the psychic (spirit) body (lower soul), which the physical body assimilates. It is through this Self/Soul, that we are "born from above," Self born. Divine Thought, a First principle, The matrix, Life and Light; the mould of all things. The Logos is the Life, Light, (breath - pneuma) that is eventually placed in us. It is attached to us, through a cord of Light. The Logos - is brighter than a thousand suns. We are in fact the son of that, Man.

Bismillaah ir Rahmaan ir Rahiim. As salaamu alaikum. The "ego," is the "cultivated," "worldly," "personality," aspect / state, of the lower soul (psychic), ["nafs," Ar.]; in the material body - according to some, mystical teachings.

The "ego" in its worldly aspect, seems to be quite possessive and unyielding, in foisting upon many, of the earth's populace false guidance [91:8-10]. 50:16. "It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein." The egos habits / inclinations, are basically materialistic [non-spiritual]. But when the lower soul, decides to seek the higher intellectual [Spiritual] truths, the "ego," which as is the norm opposes (spurns) Spiritual knowledge, begins to change (wakes up) as the material consciousness/intellect, imbibes/absorbs, the teachings from the Higher Self/Soul.

The 'nafs,' is of lunar origin [re: psychic, lower soul / self]. The 'nafs,' [lunar, water] psychic body, is said to be the form, carrier or transporter, of the vital life, force [Spirit], -- with its contained "four elements," (earth, air, water, fire), etcetera, and that its aura, "enspheres," the material body.

Chapter 167

Accordingly, if your mind will not rest content in this, and you be fain to say again: "Why so?" I will disclose to you a wherefore." It is this. Tell me, wherefore cannot a [single] stone rest on the top of the water, yet the whole earth rests on the top of the water? Tell me, why is it that, while water extinguishes fire, and earth flees from air, so that none can unite earth, air, water, and fire in harmony, nevertheless they are united in man and are preserved harmoniously? The Gospel of Barnabas

The lower self previously erred in believing that the fleshly [animal] body should be adorned as the "True" (Real) Self. The "ego," is accustomed to leading the lower soul / self, away from higher standards, as it adheres to the lower thinking of the materialistic consciousness, due to being misguided. 12:53. "Nor do I absolve my own self (of blame): the (human) soul is certainly prone to evil, unless my Lord do bestow His Mercy: but surely my Lord is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful." Yusuf Ali's Quran Translations. The higher material intellect is imbued with self-consciousness (seeking) or, inwards (intrinsic) investigation leading to purification, - because of its seeking The Grace, of THE ONLY GOD, through the "Real Self/Soul" or Higher Soul.

91: 1. By the Sun and his (glorious) splendour;
91: 2. By the Moon as she follows him;
91: 3. By the Day as it shows up (the Sun's) glory;
91: 4. By the Night as it conceals it;
91: 5. By the Firmament and its (wonderful) structure;
91: 6. By the Earth and its (wide) expanse:
91: 7. By the Soul, and the proportion and order given to it;
91: 8. And its enlightenment as to its wrong and its right;-
91: 9. Truly he succeeds that purifies it,
91:10. And he fails that corrupts it!
Yusuf Ali's Quran Translation

Chapter 115
Let man say somewhat to me. What has he brought into the world, by reason of which he would live in idleness? Certain it is that he was born naked, and incapable of anything. Hence, of all that he has found, he is not the owner, but the dispenser. And he will have to render an account thereof in that dreadful day.

The abominable lust, that makes man like the brute beasts, ought greatly to be feared; for the enemy is of one's own household, so that it is not possible to go into any place where your enemy may not come. Ah, how many have perished through lust! Through lust came the deluge, insomuch that the world perished before the mercy of God and so that there were saved only Noah and eighty-three human persons. For lust God overwhelmed three wicked cities whence escaped only Lot and his two children. For lust the tribe of Benjamin was all but extinguished. And I tell you truly that if I should narrate to you how many have perished through lust, the space of five days would not suffice." James answered: "O Master, what signifies lust?"

Jesus answered: "Lust is an unbridled desire of love, which, not being directed by reason, bursts the bounds of man's intellect and affections; so that the man, not knowing himself, loves that which he ought to hate. Believe me, when a man loves a thing, not because God has given him such thing, but as its owner, he is a fornicator; for that the soul, which ought to abide in union with God its creator, he has united with the creature. And so God laments by Isaiah the prophet, saying: You have committed fornication with many lovers; nevertheless, return to me and I will receive you.

As God lives in whose presence my soul stands, if there were not internal lust within the heart of man, he would not fall into the external; for if the root be removed the tree dies speedily. Let a man content himself therefore with the wife whom his creator has given him, and let him forget every other woman."
The Gospel of Barnabas

24:21. O you who believe! do not follow the footsteps of the Shaitan, and whoever follows the footsteps of the Shaitan, then surely he bids the doing of indecency and evil; and were it not for Allah's grace upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have ever been pure, but Allah purifies whom He pleases; and Allah is Hearing, Knowing. Shakir's Quran Translation Read on in this chapter of AL-Qur'an.

When the psychic self begins to awaken from its (prolonged) worldly (death-like) sleep, it uses the lustration of the (lunar) psychic purifying force to clear/cleanse, the channels [the cord in the spinal column, and the (ganglia) nerve-centers along either side of it] through which the solar fire (breath - pneuma), electric energy/force, works, as regeneration is being arrived at.

Bismillaah ir Rahmaan ir Rahiim. As salaamu alaikum. Apparently, someone is hoping that we will not gain the true knowledge of the 'little understood,' definition of "The Son of The Man." Someone is trying to confuse us with vague references.

If Jesus was the Son of God, why did He call Himself the Son of Man? - ChristianAnswers.Net

"Jesus answered: "Believe me, Barnabas that I cannot weep as much as I ought. For if men had not called me God, I should have seen God here as he will be seen in paradise, and should have been safe not to fear the day of judgment. But God knows that I am innocent, because never have I harboured thought to be held more than a poor slave. No, I tell you that if I had not been called God I should have been carried into paradise when I shall depart from the world, whereas now I shall not go thither until the judgment. Now you see if I have cause to weep." Chapter 112 The Gospel of Barnabas

Bismillaah ir Rahmaan ir Rahiim. As salaamu alaikum. On the road to purification, don't forget to read Al-Qur'an, The Purifier.

Chapter 182
"Not only has God created man, as I say, but he created him perfect. He has given him the whole world; after the departure from paradise he has given him two angels to guard him, he has sent him the prophets, he has granted him the Law, he has granted him the faith, every moment he delivers him from Satan, he is fain to give him paradise; no, more, God wills to give himself to man. Consider, then, the debt, if it is great! [a debt] to cancel which you would need to have created man of yourselves out of nothing, to have created as many prophets as God has sent, with a world and a paradise, no, more, with a God great and good as is our God, and to give it ne all to God. So would the debt be cancelled and there would remain to you only the obligation to give thanks to God. But since you are not able to create a single fly, and seeing there is but one God who is lord of all things, how shall you be able to cancel your debt? Assuredly, if a man should lend you an hundred pieces of gold, you would be obliged to restore an hundred pieces of gold." The Gospel of Barnabas

Bismillaah ir Rahmaan ir Rahiim. As salaamu 'alaikum. While we are perusing the theme of symbology, I thought to include two links which I recently came upon. They might well give you a better understanding of your teacher, whom many of you misunderstood. Whether you will to accept them or not, is dependent upon whether or not, you Love The LORD, of your Soul/Self.

Bismillaah ir Rahmaan ir Rahiim. As salaamu 'alaikum. Included herein is an esoteric discourse in reference to the Sun; from a Theosophical perspective.
