I know Ronaldhino is an excellent player and i don't want to take anything away from himbut for the second year running Thierry Henry hascome runner up. How is that when he has scored more goals than both Ronaldhino and Shevchenko as well as making more assists? I think the voters are just anti-english and can't accept that people in the premier league can be the best. What do you football fans think?

the difference is Ronaldinho has a footballing brain and knows what he wants to do the moment the ball reaches his feet. Henry spends half the time running like a headless chicken.
Used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out.

Ronaldinho is better, Thierry is good but not good enough.

Henry is top scorer so far in the premiership with 15 goals so what do you mean you don't see him scoring many this season. He was top scorer last season and the season before so....

To be honest...
This season yes Ronaldinho is playing better and he was excellent last season too. I would also say that he is a superior player to Henry
HOWEVER
LAST SEASON (what this is based on) HENRY was magic and he couldnt have played any better. He HAD to win. Its stupid that he didnt.
I dont see how Schevchenko got rated above Henry is the previous one, at least there is a case for Ronaldinho but I still think HENRY should have won at least one if not both of them.

Henry should have won. Romaldimho was gangster but he didnt win anythin. Hemry got 30 league goals s arsenal went unbeaten. he should have won

Right let me tell you why, Henry is very good, but because he hasn't Delivered at International Level. He was absent during Euro 2004............ok he was there, but he was rubbish, he didn't play well in 2002 World cup either. He was oK in 1998, but he needs to score more goals when playing at international level. That is the difference, but he should have won it last year.
Schevchenko scored more goals in Euro this season than Henry, and he has played better. That is why He got the European Player of the year ahead of Henry.
Manchester United........it is time to wake up and go on a winning Streak

@ Saint
Ukraine never even made it to Euro 2004 so Schevchenko did nothing as well.

Yes, but he has scored a lot of goals this season in the Champion's League plus he has scored some goals in the World Cup Qualifiers. Henry hasn't scored much in the Champion's league and he hasn't been scoring for France. Ok everyone has been biggin him up in England, he should also prove he can do it for France. Everyone is always disappointed when he doesn't deliver for his country.
When Ronaldo was the top player, bwoy he delivered for his Country, same as Rivaldo and many others. Playing well Week in Week out in the Premiership is not enough
Manchester United........it is time to wake up and go on a winning Streak
