NFL Europe tried to inflict an English Team on us 4/5 years ago but the crowds were down to 10,000 !.....and the Team changed location to London!......If an English Soccer Team of any stature tried to change location the original "locals" would burn the New Stadium down!.......They tried to sell American Football with a Big Sales Campaign on Channel 4..it flopped!.....Then AF was moved to Sky Sports Channel..It flopped again!........Then it was moved to late night Channel 5....it must have flopped again as they showed this years Superbowl on ITV.......thats the 4th attempt the've made to sell it to us....98% really are not interested I'm afraid.......No disrespect..

I have to disagree with you. In America soccer is nota big thing, football is. The superbowl is major over here. It is interesting to see how different cultures and peoples view sports. My roomate is from Africa and he loves soccer, even more than football. Soccer is probably played on every continent, but in the west it is not played as much as football. Actually baseball, basketball, and football dominate the west.

Mad R
Stop saying the west LOL very deceptive... you mean USA and USA alone
You have the baseball WORLD series and only you guys play yet it makes sense LOL LOL LOL
Be serious, soccer is the biggest sport in South America, Africa, Europe and Asia is pretty split between soccer, cricket and a whole heap of everything. In the southern Hemisphere Oceania and pacific islands, Rugby dominates.
Your American football is played seriously in one place and one place alone LOL
Its a cultural anomaly like err Aussie rules (look it up ha ha) or Sumo, unique to your one particular country.
Basketball is different, EVERYONE plays that, and even Ice hokey is played in more countries than american football.
LOL this reminds me of a great thread/debate I had with the formidable Ashanti ha ha ha
Ill try dig it up but in the meantime, Ill leave this thread for J Krush who just wanted to know if people around the world watched it.
Err yes they do as a novelty interest. Like watching late night sumo or something.

I agree with you. Soccer is played in a lot more countries than football. I guess it was just a misunderstanding on my part, I apologize. Your are absolutely right. I have always wanted to understand soccer, but I never give myself the time.

I am a damned Seahawks fan myself. Someone got me some cheap Seahawk gear when I was little and I have been stuck with them every since. Grrrrr I do cheer on the Titans and make some of the games in Nashville though.
THe only way to learn soccer is to play soccer, I have picked it up that way. It is more of a free flowing tactical sport instead of a strategy type sport. You get little nicks and injuries but hardly ever the injuries in football.
The good thing about soccer? You can actually move the next day after you play and rarely ever have to worry about being paralyzed from the neck down after a play. LOL
