Right... Ill kick off

NEWS So far (Ill keep editing and updating this as more news comes in)

Liverpool have Zenden from Middlesbourgh, and a new keeper Reina and African Sissoko. Just signed Peter Crouch.

Arsenal have Hleb and got rid of Viera to Juve. They also sold Stuart Taylor to Birmingham and let Edu go on a free.

Newcastle let Robert go on loan, signed Emre from Inter sold Kluivert to Valencia, bought Scott Parker from Chelsea and Craig Bellamy is now at Blackburn.

Chelsea have signed Del Horno and Sean Wright Phillips and also sold Kezman lol...

Aston Villa have signed Aaron Hughes, Patrick Berger and Kevin Phillips but they let Hitzlesberger go.

Man Utdhave signed Park from PSV and Van der Sar from Fulham. They got rid of Roy Caroll to Portsmouth.

Man City have signed Andy Cole and Darius Vassel from Villa

Tottenham sold Ricketts, Atouba and Davies and signed Wayne Routledge and on a free Edgar Davids.

Middlesborough signed Yakubu from Portsmouth.

GOSSIP/RUMOURS

Jermaine Jenas might be off to Arsenal but Newcastle want Sol Campbell as part of the deal. The craziest thing is that it looks likely... how on earth can Wenger be dumb enought to sell Viera AND Campbell?

There is a dressing room revolt at Arsenal and players are not happy that captain is gone.

Olivier Bernard is on his way to Birmingham City.

Arsene Wenger is planning 20 million move for Sean Wright-Phillips but Chelsea look more likely to sign him. Especially given the animosity and bad feeling between Wenger and Mourinho.

Watch out for Bolton, they bought the Mexican captain for 1m and the guy looks hot. I've seen hi in internationals and he looks good for 15 goals this season

Ivorian Toure joins Olympiakos Toure (right) joins Olympiakos from the Ukraine Ivorian midfielder Yaya Toure has joined Greek side Olympiakos Piraeus. Toure, who is the brother of Arsenal defender Kolo, moved to Olympiakos from Ukraine's Metalurh Donetsk.
The 22-year old is said to be a personal target of Olympiakos coach Trond Sollied.

Two members of the Nigerian U-20 side at the World Youth Championship in Holland (WYC) have signed contracts with European clubs.
Striker John Owoeri has been given a one-year deal by Feyenoord Rotterdam, while midfielder Isaac Promise joins Turkey's Gençlerbirligi.
"My dream has always been to play in Europe, so I'm happy it has been fulfilled," the 18-year-old Owoeri said.
Promise, who signed a four-year deal with Gençlerbirligi, attracted interest from Monaco, AJ Auxerre, Alaves, PSG and Feyenoord.
But the captain of the Nigerian team that won silver at the WYC said the financial package offered was not the primary reason for moving to the Turkish Liga.
"I found out the club has big plans for me.
"I will play regular football there, which will see me progress to a bigger club in the future," Promise told BBC Sport on Friday.
Dan Fletcher, Promise's agent, said the Gençlerbirligi offer was the best career choice for his client.
"The lure behind the move is first-team football, instead of being on the bench at these other clubs."
"It's a very good deal financially, it's a very good deal football-wise and Isaac is happy to have joined the club," Fletcher said.

Nigeria striker Ayodele Makinwa has signed a five-year deal with Italian Serie A side Palermo worth US$9.1m.
The 21-year-old joins them after an impressive season with Atalanta, which also made him the recent target of a $9.8m bid from German club Stuttgart.
"With this transfer completed, I can now sleep with my eyes closed," he told BBC Sport on Wednesday.
"I am happy to have fulfilled the ambition of the Palermo president.
"He has been talking in the press about how much he admires me and I won't let him down."
But Makinwa, who was on the verge of joining Inter Milan, says he is not disappointed the transfer never happened.
"I'm happy that a big club like Inter showed interest in me but in football a decision has to be made and I'm happy Palermo matched words with action.
"It would have been nice to play alongside Obafemi Martins but my future and ambition now lies with Palermo and that is a massive challenge for me."
Makinwa is looking forward to playing in Europe with his new club, as they enter next season's UEFA Cup, after finishing sixth in Italy.
"My dream has always been to play in European competitions and Palermo provides that platform," he added.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Portsmouth sign striker Mbesuma Mbesuma was the top scorer in South Africa last season Portsmouth have signed Zambian striker Collins Mbesuma on a three-year deal, subject to a work permit. The 21-year-old, who scored 34 goals for South African side Kaizer Chiefs last term, had been on trial at Bolton.
Mbesuma, nicknamed "The Hurricane", won last season's Player of the Year and Golden Boot awards in South Africa.
His prolific strike rate in front of goal helped to propel Kaizer Chiefs to a second successive domestic premier league title.
His agent, Mike Makab, told Portsmouth's official website that the deal was subject to Mbesuma getting a work permit.
"There were no hard feelings with Bolton and the manager was great - but they just wanted to look at Collins for a three or four days," said Makab.
I
was enough interest from other clubs for Collins.
"I think Pompey's gain will be a few other clubs' loss."
Mbesuma's displays at international level have boosted Zambia's chances of a maiden appearance at next year's World Cup finals.
The bulky forward's late winner in last month's 2-1 World Cup qualifying win over Mali left the southern African nation just a point behind Togo, the group leaders.

I mean what do you do? We went fro mpossibly having a chance to winnng to title to now with the threat of Sol Campbell being sold as well to just trying to finish in the top 4 next season.

Man we will be getting our asses handed to us at a new ground. WTF is Arsene thinking? Jenas for releasing two big stars?

Now there is strife in the dressing room for releasing Pat? Henry is gone next season. I see that now. Pires is gone before the start of the season and Freddy at the break. Dennis is old so this is his last year as since Pat is gone and Henry is plotting to leave since all his compatriots and friends are gone. Does anyone besides me see how frustrated he gets when Reyes has the ball (and is stripped)?

Now they do not mention going after SWP? If Chelsea swipe him they have locked up the EPL because they were loaded last year. This year they will an extra clip. SWP on one side and RObben on the other? THis looks bad for all the EPL well except Chelsea.

Chelsea are going to turn the EPL to Chelsea and the other 19 at this rate. So I guess the race for 2nd begins again.

I honestly believe that Wenger must have an ace up his sleeve somewhere...I cant believe he let Viera go although I must say that between his and Campbells injuries last season they cost us the title. Just my personal opinion. And also I think Sanderos has matured as a better player and honestly if I was Arsene, Sanderos holds his place, he is younger and less prone to injury and last season was a learnign curve for him.

@ Safety
Henry isn't going ANYWHERE. I can't see him leaving.

@ Bele
Awwwwwwwwwww are you set with me for telling you all about Vieira? AwwRio can't go anywhere. There is only ONE club on earth (Chelsea)who could afford the wages he is after and they don't want him. He has no choice but to stay the dummy!

People said the same thing about Viera LOL Plus Henry wants to play with a great center mid who can set him up. Not a ball winner like viera. Man I can see him in a Barco shirt next summer if we do not hoist the EPL trophy this year.

That is only natural because he does not want to be part of the rebuilding of Arsenal. He wants to win the CL. Henry sees now that he will only probably have 3 more years of top level football with his current abilities so the time is now or never and with my current Arsenal squad, I don't see a CL trophy being hoisted this year. Haveing Hleb and Viera in the middle maybe but we still needed another striker wing.

Now that CHelsea hav SWP, I don't see any stoppingthem. I mean their midfield is the strongest in the EPL. One world class striker and they would dominate the world. Perms (Ivory Coast striker) and Eidur are not going to do it on the international stage. I mean you can keep other teams from scoring, but as they showed last season sometimes they cannot score themselves if Robben is not in the game. THey need a strong proven forward.

Who will stop Chelsea? Only if they move to Italy!!!!!!!

Arsenal without Vieira are done.MU is the only credible challenger to Chelsea right now, the rest are roasted goat meat.

Don't be so miserable and silly Bele... I've never underestimated Wenger so I don't see why you should. I've seen enough of that detestable frenchman to know that he knows what he is doing. I personally think that Chelsea's biggest challenge will come from Liverpool. Rafa is assembling a SQUAD not a team... I like his ruthlessness.... Man U... ahhh well you know Im a pessimist. If something lovely happens like Alex buying Michael Owen or a quality midfielder I been banging on about for the last season... then maybe. Right now I doubt it.

The thing is DM, you cannot buy heart. Arsene just sold ours a month before the season started. Now handing the captains band to a forward? That is just plain stupid. I do see this as a move for next year of the sell of Henry.
