Man is anyone watching the game? That Ram CB just mad contact with Kevin Jones knee and went limp on the field. Then his body went into convulsions. I love the game but man I hate the trauma it does to your body.

In a week they do. This is just preseason. The starters play about half the game and the rest of the people come in and basically play for a spot on the team. It goes on for about a month, then the season starts.

@DM
Yeah he seemed to be ok afterward. He was down for a while. They showed him on tv until he started twitching, then they flashed back on him and he was started even worse.
After they put him on the stretcher with a neck brace to stabilize him and put him on a motorized cart to transport him to the ambulance. He gave a thumbs up, but I thought that he had snapped his neck because he went limp on contact and landed on his face.
The report just said that he has a neck sprain and he was being taken to the ER for observation. They said that he was conscious the whole time. man I know he had to be scared when his body went into convulsions.
@ Kunjufu
I think the Patriots are on the decent. Their defense looks bad. Plus they lost their offense and defensive coaches. I think that will be too big of an adjustment for them to overcome
THe Jets are well still the Jets.
The Bills have a running back with a completely reconstructed knee. How reconstructed? The guy who hit him (dirty Mike Doss who only takes knee shots) hit him in a college bowl game and bent his knee 45 degrees back the other way on contact. Bills have a great D, but their offense is non existant and wears them out
The Colts look good on offense but their defense is still small and iffy and can be man handled.
The Eagles are fighting among themselves LOL They got Terrell Owens a gifted player, but he is a cancerous teammate. I still see them going back to the super bowl If they squash everything I think they will be the team to beat.

safetyblitz, Yeaaah man, I was watching it. U could see his lowerbody shaking, I was like nooooooooooo. He was ok after few mts, just minor neck injury, this game is very violent. One of our greatest players(MN Vikings: Robert Smith RB)quite few yrs ago, after having few knee injuries at the age of 28. He said, it's not worth it anymore.

I wonder what it is man. I mean you never saw all these neck injuries in the past and you cannot protect against it, since most are caused by a shot to the forehead jamming the neck down and backward.
I now see why more guys do not wrap up like they use to on tackles, because it is safer now to put a shoulder into someone than lead head first. I mean he did everything textbook when he got hurt and it was not that mean of a shot either.
