I take it you did not watch Senegal dance around their jersey after scoring against France in WC 2002 huh? LOL

Angola i hope they get a spanking. These sissiesactually think that they can play football.
Anyway, there area few examples of these kind of matches:
France Vs Senegal 2002
Nigeria Vs England 2002
Spain VsParaguay 1998
Germany Vs Cameroon 2002.
Maybe there's more but cant think of any.

I just saw that in the schedule and was about to ask the village:
Does Angola have what it takes to beat Portugal?

@DtotheJ
I remember the Super Eagles dancing around England who looked flustered LOL Then again they had nothing to play for as they were already through. The Super Eagles at the time against England seemed to put aside their differences and play together in the last match, when it did not matter if I am remembering correctly.....I was soooooo pissed at them it is undescribable.......
@Hat
I am sorry, but I am pulling for the US all the way because we have a bunch of AAs breaking through in the ranks like Eddie Johnson who if he scores will be on his way to Europe if he can shake the hesitation after his knee injury. DaMarcus Beasley who is one of the performers on the team and helped PSV make their Champions League Run. THen we have two brothers manning the line in the back Pope and the tall Nigerian kid. Seeing as we had only Coby Jones who I never considered a brother on the team for years and now we have 4 brothers in the line up and two from the hood, I gotta pull for them before anyone if only to support them alone.
@huskagee
I feel for Angola because they are gonna get a royal beating.......then again if they play like the Greeks and just bunker in front of the goal for 75 minutes it nullifies all of the fancy passing and footwork of Portugal. Then if they are brave enough they could again be like the greeks wait until Portugal push up 9 men to get that goal and catch them in a quick counter and win. Greece had me crying laughing with this tactic in Euro 2004. The same tactic in every game and they did not even try to hide it and won the tourney LOL

The games will be interesting this year. I've bought my beer and am all ready for this weekend.
Does anyone think the Ivory Coast has any chance of winning against Argentina? I didn't think they would make it into the Cup so I didn't watch any of their matches.

LOL! Please keep asking more questions, they are making me laugh im in stitches! Your first question on whether it was possible for angola to beat portugal made me laugh. Angola only have ONEprofessional playerthat plays in europe.

The ivory coast stand no chance. To beat Argentina the team needs a VERY STRONG defence and that is what ivory coast lacks. They are very Brittle at the back.

I don't know I think the IC stand a chance against the Netherlands and that 4-3-3 they try to cram down everyone's throat. Tolo sees and knows Ruud and Eboue proved he can play defense. The problem is Arsenal allows them to go forward and at this WC they cannot afford to leave their less experienced teammates behind. THey are going to have to play Chelsea long ball and hope BIG PERM can grab a goal for them and bunker down.
Argentina is not all they are cracked up to be becaus | |
