Did no one notice that horrible call for that goal kick to Ghana? Seriously? That was the worst call I have ever seen in soccer.

Well I was pulling for the US and looking at the stats considering that the US only had 8 fouls called against them to Ghana's 22 when I last looked, how did the US waste so many chances? THey choked. No excuses. They choked. We were playing good ball until Arena threw in the B team against Germany in that 4 or 6 nothing schlacking we took in Germany. That seemed to have killed the squads spirits including the people who did not play in the A team. You do not do some bullsh*t like that before the WC.

We should be looking to temporarily hire the hired gun Gus Hiddink. Say what you want he produces results and seems to have a World Cup proven system.

@Nomadanare

ALso I forgot to add.....Arena should have realized that Kasey Keller in goal is a bad omen.......The last time he started in a World Cup we went 3 and out. We friggin lost to Iran......Iran.

If he would have been a real coach he would have begged Friedel (who was the only reason we got as far as we did) to come and play. Keller never comes up big unless the ball is near him and has never saved anything with heat on it full stretch. Keller could not stop a 5yr old 1v1. The only person to cleanly beat Friedel at the last World Cup was Jeff Agoos's own goal in the upper 90. LOL

I mean damn Keller was on television arguing with his own defenders in a German game this season because they knew he should have stopped two of the 3 goals that got past him. He never plays on his toes. He plays flat footed and chewing gum like a baldingLehman reject......

I feel the pain too but BIG UPs Ghana, they wanted this and if we have to go out to a team, I am glad that it was an African team that advanced on our behalf. Still I would have liked to see us there, but we did not seem to want to advance. something was missing in this WC........

The Japs are defending extremely well, and the fact thatBrazilians can't find their finish is helping to. Unfortunately for Japan there is no escaping fate blkbuttkick
