A Job very well done today... 0-3 - slightly eases our wounds
Everyone was superb - bar Gerrard - AGAIN
Aurelio was superb going forward - but still suspect defensively
Next weekend is probably the biggest game of our season
Its our first home game since the Arsenal shambles - and its against the Champions Chelsea
Beating Chelsea will cut to gap between us and them to 5 POINTS - and its only January..... it will bring us within a touching distance of 2nd SPOT..
dont care how we do it - dont care how ugly it gets- dont care how many legs we break in the process - WE HAVE TO get 3 POINTS...............!!
Yup we do. We've beaten Chelsea in theFA, CL and C.Shield in last few seasons, but not the league, so its a big test.

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Italian under-21 goalkeeper Daniele Padelli from Sampdoria, subject to international clearance.
Padelli, who was on loan with second division Crotone in the first half of the season, has signed until the end of the season when the Reds will have the option to agree a permanent deal.
"He's a good young goalkeeper who has been selected for his national side," said manager Rafael Benitez.

"Padelli will give us a good option for the future. The fact he is once again with the under-21s for his national side tells you that we are signing a very good player.
"Our scouting department are working really hard to bring good young players to the club and I'm delighted we have been able to sign Padelli

Dude you have a chance, they have no defenders and Hilario(us) in net LOL The score next week could easily be 5-4 Liverpool.

The wait will soon be over, the glory days are now imminent.
PARRY: DUBAI DEAL IMMINENT
Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry has revealed the takeover of the Barclays Premiership club by investors from Dubai is almost complete and that a concrete announcement will be made 'relatively soon'.
Dubai International Capital (DIC), the investment arm of the Dubai government, tabled a bid in December and are currently completing legal formalities and the process of due diligence.
Parry told Sportsweek on BBC Radio Five Live: “A huge amount of work has been going on from both parts. I imagine we’ll have something concrete to say relatively soon on that.
“They are finalising all the legal work. They have been examining the books and satisfying themselves that everything is fine on that score.
“There is lot of legal work to do and investigations going on into the funding of the new stadium, which is a very important project for us.
“It is a case of finalising the due diligence and pulling everything together, which we hope will be completed relatively quickly.
“It is looking positive and yes, I am confident (it will go through).
Parry confirmed the takeover would bring in the additional funds that manager Rafael Benitez wants to strengthen his squad for a tilt at the Barclays Premiership title.

@K
Upfront they do not have the speed to deal with Barca's twin hacks. Maybe a penalty but that is about it. Marquez hacks people down before they can get started and his partner Sasquatch hacks them down before they rceive the ball. LOL
And if they cannot deal with an Henry-less Arsenal how in the heck are they going to deal with the Barca frontline that is getting Eto'o back soon?
I think it is time for a massive clear out starting with Dudek who has no confidence at all now, the back line needs to be cleared out. Renia does not trust any of them anymore and makes dumber and dumber mistakes watching out for them. He looks like Hislop or Givens now. Just reacting peripheral suspected shadows brought on by a defense that disappears at times LOL
Hyypia is stable but slow, Riise is starting downward, the rest cannot read aything defensively and get off on their skills.
Who is on the trading block in six months?
My Guess
DUDEK
Paletta
Aurelio
Wanock
Zenden
Pennant
Crouch
Bellamy
Riise or Finnan

THey still have not played first team ball in a while and all Terry needs is one hard fall and he is hobbling to the sideline holding his back.....
Plus Cech may have flashbacks and pull up

Nah
Finnan has been the most consistent full backin the league for the last two seasons bar the start of this one. Dan Agger will develop into one of the best defenders around. Hypia is getting old but is still a god. Carragher is arguebly the best central defender in the Premiership if not the world and has 5 more good years at the top level in him.
None of this will matter anymore as very soon you will see the likes of Cannavaro,Thuram, Neste and Cafu all begging to get in the squad.

Are you kidding?
Cannavaro has Cappello convinced he is Jesus
Thuram at Barca knows all he has to do is kick the ball to Ronaldinho and they will win
Cafu is 65 and heading to Dubai LOL Plus AC Milan still love the man.
Still I am watching the replay of the game and the Liverpool back line were more at fault than Dudek. On that first goal they did not run with Aliadiere, they let Song get an untested run at the goal most teams would have put a player in front of him, Hyypia's penalty was out of sheer panic, Baptista's 2nd goal was left by pure lack of marking in the middle they were chasing the ball and then got caught doing the same thing again. That shot he had on Dudek for his 3rd goal was a shot taken on keepers before the game. He had time to settle, place it and crank it. THis was damned near an extended PK as Hyypia slid by LOL On his 4th it was the same damned play except it came from the right LOL Dudek evenn pointed at Baptista and they still let him run uncontested into the box. This was all the backline.
They talked about Dudek like a dog but the Liverpool back line was none existent that day. Seaman or Man U's legendary keeper could not have done better.
