... interesting to note that while the England & Wales Cricket Board have managed to arrange for an England 'A' team to play the visiting Pakistani tourists (as they also did against Sri Lanka - click for more), no such opposition has been arranged for the West Indies 'A' touring team for their tour, which reciprocates England A's tour of the Caribbean ...

Pakistan will play West Indies A in two one-day matches at Shenley on August 12 and -13 rather than the two-day match originally scheduled.

The ECB has agreed for the match period to be split with two separate 50-over matches on Saturday 12 August 2006 and Sunday 13 August 2006.

Well I went on the Saturday & it was a good day all around.

The Windies fans were out numbered 2 to 1 by Pakistani fans but what we lacked in numbers we made up for in spirit & noice.

Good to see some of the emerging talent on show.
