Arsenal are going to have to learn to finish teams off. We should have had Chelsea 3-1 yesterday. Instead we let them stay in the game and they came damned near close to stealing it.
If Momo had decided to play Big Perm, (DD) it would have been over. Kalou owned Eboue. E could not do anything with him. He was turning E inside out.
Gilberto should have checked down Mikel. Mikel full body check Fabs, where was Gilberto? See this is why I should play for Arsenal. A hit like that would have had full retailiation 5 minutes later as he dribbled he would have been up ended enough that he had to receive treatment. Gilberto take the yellow you are the holding midfielder.
How many want to put a dollar on Boulharouz being traded over the summer? LOL He single handedly cost Chelsea the season with his poor marking and then red card a little later.
Still with 5 midfielders and 4 defenders and a 1 man advantage, how IN THEE HELL, did we not retain possession more?

Oh those crazy, passionate Frenchies, always speaking their mind on the spur of the moment. Or is that the Dutch? Whatever…
But ex Arsenal and soon to be effigied winger Robert Pires has come out claiming that Thierry Henry should abandon the club and the Arsene Wenger, who made them both the players they are today, so that he can chase a couple trophies with Barcelona,
“I think Thierry Henry would be very happy at Barca, Pires said in the Daily Star. “I should not be saying this as Arsenal, their manager and their fans are all very good.
“But it would be best for him to make a change. Arsenal are at the end of a cycle. They have signed some good new players but they are still very young.
“Cesc Fabregas is young but he already knows how to play. He is going to be an absolute star.
“The quality of his passing is right out of the Barca school of doing things.
Relying on quotes from Pires in the Daily Star is always fun, and with William Hill slashing odds on Henry going to Liverpool for some reason, silly season keeps getting sillier. But Robbie does have a point. Wenger’s side may not mature into a dominant force in the remaining year’s of Thierry Henry’s career - at least while he is young and healthy enough to be a primary influence and truly enjoy it. Barca, though, are hardly in a state of stablility.
But that’s not going to save him from a right beating if Villarreal ever come to the Emirates. A beating right in the face.

Losing Henry is going to keep us in 4th for a while because we have not learned to put teams away at all.
I would be surprised if he did stay with AC and Barca making moves. I mean playing besides Ronaldo and KAKA or Eto'o and Ronaldinho........ vs Cesc and Gilberto LOL Cesc is good, but no one else on the team can really step up when it matters.
The board lost Dein, losing Henry, and with those two gone, Arsene is heading towards the exit next year. Talk about bringing a dynasty to an end. LOL Heck at the rate they are going, I may leave as well LOL Even though I do not pay any ticket prices or anything, at least cheering for a team like Newcastle, Bolton, or Man City, at least you know what you are getting and not expecting much........

Ok. Stop. Let's just stop feeling sorry for ourselves as Gooners, and start looking forward in terms of the next season. Henry was one man, as brilliant as he was, one man. One man does not a team make. He hadn't played since the spring and we still obtained a CL place.
Financially the club is in a good state and remember, poor financial management has sunk many a big club (did someone say Leeds FC?).
I wish Henry all the best at Barca. But really, WE got his best years.

Da Silva's appeal hearing against the refusal to offer him a work permit is being held today. I'm intrigued as to why the Home Office rejected his application in the first place. HO must have Chav infiltrators.

I can't survive a season full of last minute comebacks by Arsenal...... or praying Lehman can make the easy _________ (fill in the blank......save, pass, clearance, throw, decision, etc.)
We are Gunners but it seems like our names were the dodgers on Sunday as we dodged many bullets.
Hleb looked good though, but at Fabregas' expense who had to go back to Gilberto's role. We need a wide right player. Eboue looked ok, but he plays that left back more solidly than Sanga, but then again, maybe Sanga played it so well that he went unchallenged. I think our starlet needs to play that side as he really started to stretch Fulham by himself drawing one player to contain him and to support the defender opening things up for us.
Bentdner surprised me too as he gave us something that we have not had which is a forward with an aerial presence and a wide body.
Also that Knight guy for Fulham is HUGE!!!! He made Gallas look 5'4. Still their keeper deserved better, but with Bocanegra on the backline, we all had to know a PK was coming sooner or later. This cat is not even first pick on the American backline, God knows how he got to England. Still he did his job throw the game for us to get back in it.
Still that keeper was a monster for 83 minutes. He deserved better though...... Man I wish Niemi had played. We would have won that game easily 5-1.

I hear what you're saying. Although we've won all our games so far, watching Arsenal games at the moment is pure stress. I don't think my heart can sustain that type of pressure for an entire season. The transfer window is still open, but I can't see Wenger buying anymore players. A positive start, but why I am worried?

How sweet was it that Lundberg's underachieving goal was disallowed yesterday.
