It seems "its just the way the world goes" but how come when our golden boy of the time - be it Mr rooney goes through a major dip in form for both club and country he still gets a minimum 60 minutes on the pitch internationally. They talked after the Macedonia game about the lack of a stiker with genuine pace to be able to get behind the defence - practically crying over injuries to Andy Johnson and Michael Owen who we all know hasn't had a yard of pace since he was about 18 - when we have a genuinely consistent goal scorer in the form of Darren Bent who can score with head and feet and does it consistently Defoe - has been a starter for seasons on end butstill gets looked over as an impact player. Barring Andy cole who we realise wasa blackversion of Robbie Fowler - great for club not for country-black strijers don't get the look in they deserve. Right now lets not even think about the likes of Walcott you can see he will be a star thru and thru but real black strikers just aint got more than scraps to feed off when they do play
