It was a game of defences. Juan was heavy as usual but Rio was a don tonight. Also Roma's forward line were appallingly wasteful

LOL!!

I was actually wishing for the whistle today as I began to feel so sorry for the toon lol... pure joke ting.

Seriously without Given that would have been 20-0 lol... for us to win 6-0 and you can still look at Shay Given and say he had a good game!! Pure joke

That was funny! Made my night

That is what I call total Annihilation. 20shots on goal, 15corners... Damn!!!!

Not to forget the penalty that wasnt given. Would have been 4goals for Ronaldo.

They were asking for it. Who in their right mind fires their manager a few days before going into Old Trafford? You knew after the first goal panic would set it w/o some form of leadership.

I have to agree that Given is one hell of a goalie who deserves a defense worthy of his skills. 11 saves? Who makes 11 saves with a defense? Didnt see it but it seems to have been Man Utd vs Shay Given LOL

It was exactly that lol

Newcastle are so crap I can't see any manager wanting to go there. I mean firing a guy halfway through his first season with a crap team just before going to play man u... height of stupidity

They <strike>hid and defended</strike> played quite well in the first half. Owen was onside in their single attack against our god knows how many lol. If not for our two denied penalty appeals they might have had a chance to moan

Given was very good though. Some excellent saves. Shame about the 6 that weren't

Who has gone under the headlines and really not noticed has been Anderson. He has been briliant in the Man U midfield and while Nani has contributed a few flash in the pan goals, Anderson's simple touches have opened doors for the other attacking players. He is like another Cesc only with braided hair. Although he has not had a lot of assists or goals a lot of his touches have be the initial unlocking of defenses.

I wondered what SAF saw in this kid, because I was not seeing it, but that run he made when MU played Liverpoop summed it up as he went through the entire Liverpool midfield at full speed only to be chopped down a step before he reached the defense. I found out later that he was recovering from a broken leg. It makes me wonder how this kid will play next year when all of his muscles are back to full strength and he feels 100% confident in them again.

LOL Anderson is the guy all my friends talk about. He is quality. Nani makes lots of mistakes but look how many games Anderson starts for us. SAF recognises him already.

**giggles**

4-0 and Lehman actually played well!!

Commentators were getting on my last nerve though. Nani was so obviously motm and they were hating on him. He scored one and set up two and played with flair. Rooney scored the opener true, but after that missed a hatful and they were sucking his dik all day. Very annoying.

The red card was another confirmation on my low low low opinion of Eboue. I can't stand that cheating dirty whining fouling *******.

On our way to Wembley la la la la

Only Chel$ki left in the competition out of the 'Big Four'.....a great result for football. Let's hope Barnsley can produce more of the same.

Wasn't expecting the Pompey win, so fair play to them. They've got the capability so not a shock by any means.
