Pass me the bucket! **Bleeeaaargh**
Le Moor, 'come on utd'??!! how could you?
Well this causes for an anti-climax for liverpool chelsea game. the thought of a liverpool vs manu final doesnt bear thinking about for me personally. whenever we play united gerrard tends to put his feet up, torres gets kicked left right and centre, alonso loses the ball and aurelio is anonymous. This current liverpool squad really doesnt inspire confidence against united. Some additions and replacements to the squad should be made before we can play against united convincingly once again.
the prospect of playing united in the final has given me mixed emotions about the liverpool chelsea tie. If we go out to chelsea it will hurt but i have to say it is the lesser of two evils. Of course there is the prospect of us winning the final which would be brilliant. But that outcome doesnt come without three weeks of sleepless nights waiting.

Oh yeh! so glad we didnt splash out £35 million plus on eto'o! barca were not rigorous enough in the final third, but imo eto'o was ultimately a thorn in the barca side this tie.

Yeah i know but i appreciate good football and at one point it looked like Man U we're going to walk that match. I also want them in the final. Ive never EVER got over the FA cup final defeat to them when Jimmy Greenoff and Lou Macari scored to beat us 2-1. It was painful and im well overdue some payback...lol
You're right about Eto, it looks like hes lost game and hasnt played well for ages. Would have Messai in the squad though, hes easily one of the best in the world right now. Can only think of Torres, Kaka, Gerrard and Ronaldo who are in the same league. (yes there was no mention of Fabregas....lol)

What game did you watch? They were all over us and Messi especially was on fire. Just because Rio and Wes were solid doesn't mean Barca were crap K. They dominated us for large periods.
We're just more clinical is all

Liverpool have 5 we only have 2. Can you imagine the two biggest English teams in the final and the level of tension and rivalry that would bring. Chelsea are mere jonny-come-latelys and have no history to make it special. Sure we will want to beat them and get revenge for Sunday but it's not as special to me and having LIVERPOOL in the final. It would just mean a lot more to me and most Man U fans to beat the scousers than Chelsea.

Well you can have the 'jonny-come-latelys' this season. At this moment in time chelsea have the calibre to beat united and liverpool like i said just dont inspire confidence against united right now. The fa cup final defeat in 96 still leaves a bitter taste, and the stakes are higher in this final.

Not sure about you guys but anytime Eto and Messi(especially) had the ball i was well nervous they must be the only team that could make Mighty Man Utd look defensive everyone was defending from Teves to Ronaldo...cannot wait to see Chelsea through so we can stuff them good and proper after last saturdays incident
one will need a bigger lie to cover the first one

As they say you make your own luck! but second half they killed us and when Ronaldo missed that pen I thought we were gone. Was it me or did that fool JT stroll up pulling on his captains armband arrogantly sending subliminals to Capello? (watch me win the cup for Chelski and make me En-ga-land captain)

What part luck? dash weh wid dem sour grapes and clear off to your arsenal dead thread. remove yah!
Did you see how many damn chances we missed? Truth be told the game was too close to call, we dominated first half, chelsea second and we came back in extra time. We thoroughly deserved that....
BEAUTIFUL football beats bully boy drugery every time
