Ok so highIQ...you're telling that mayweather meant to win on a split decision ooooh that makes complete sense NOT!!!!

lol

His first mission is to win the fight, Once Mayweather felt Oscars strength in the early rounds, he knows he cant go gung-ho. That would be suicidal. Most boxers pace themselves in the ring which is what mayweather did. If in the process of the fight there is a chance of Knocking Oscar out, he would have gone in for the kill.

Ifhe gotcareless he would have gotten tagged by Oscar. Simple as.

The only person that has ever knocked out Oscar ie Bernand Hopkins, So you know Oscar has got a very good chin

But he knew it might be difficult to knock Oscar out, so he decided to steal the rounds. Thats just simple boxing. Roy Jones did it most of his fights.

Mayweather did outclass De La Hoya but yes it was dull. Oscar looked tired and ran out of ideas while Floyd kept him at bay and ineffective. Agree with K that Floyd should have shown more ambition especially later and finished Oscar off better but not that he looks shot. Hatton wouldn't have a chance.
