Poor sod!!...his dad and his so called friends did the dirty on him he would get off early with good behaviour and come out a better man at least he knows his life would never be the same again and no doubt be more wary of foks around him
one will need a bigger lie to cover the first one

Falcons Players Fined For Public Vick Support
ATLANTA -- The NFL has fined five Atlanta Falcons players after they showed support for disgraced quarterback Michael Vick during the Falcons nationally televised loss to the New Orleans Saints last Monday.
The NFL said the very public displays of support for Vick violated NFL uniform code policy in a couple of cases and, in fact, was so "in the face" of NFL leadership that the fines were doubled in some cases.
Tight end Alge Crumpler, cornerbacks DeAngelo Hall and Chris Houston and wide receiver Roddy White were fined $10,000 each. Hall and Crumpler wore black eye strips with writing on them supporting Vick. Hall also carried a poster supporting Vick which he taped to the back of the bench where players sit.
White wore a "Free Mike Vick" shirt underneath his jersey, which he showed after scoring a touchdown. Wide receiver Joe Horn was fined $7,500 for pulling up White's jersey.
It has not been made clear exactly what Houston did to violate the code.
Vick was sentenced to 23 months in jail on federal dogfighting charges Monday

Judge J,
Like I said Mike Vick is being made an example. Mind you that he did a little drugs and wasn't honest about it, but still he is being made an example of. I guess god didn't like ugly, the the team is losing, Bobby Pertrino pulled a fast one on them ( Yeah!), Bill Parcels also did the same thing on being the VP( Yeah!) and the players are complaining about their loss and on top of that t, the fans aren't buying the tickets like they once did in the past when Vick was in the game. I'll tell you something also disgusted me recently about al of this is that there were some Falcons players who somewhat did a " Black Power" salute thing to Vick by expressingand wearing clothes in support of him and the commissioner said that they had to pay a fine for it. Thankfully ,they appealled it and I can't blame them . It is their first amendment rightsto express their thoughts and support for their camarade.
Like I said, Vick is being made an example of and it shouldn't have to be about race but it comes to that. Now of sudden Congressmen, entertainers want to raise awareness about it , like OJ was done with domestic violence. While I don't support what Mike did, it shouldn't be about double standard. If you're going to do one person like that all should be done the same way. I think about Barry Bonds and the scandal in baseball about steroids. Slowly the are trying to make him the poster boy of it, although Jose Conseco has written a book and long said thae he did it and that there are many players that has done it. He even implicated Alex Rodriguez in the mess, though he denies it.
I just hate when people make supportive African-Americans seem that they are overzealous football fans who just support him with no cause and that is far from the case. I support him because I feel that he is being made and example of and that there are Plenty of Black people who are being made an example of problems that have been here before them and will be there after them. For example, compare the example of Tina Turner and Nicole Brown Simpson. Tiner is far more famous than she is, she's never been implicated in any wrong doing , but when she discussed her story about being abused, people either made fun of it or they just overlooked it, but when Nicole( and god forgive me for saying it) was killed oh she was this and that, everybody wanted to fight for her cause and coming up with all support groups and so one, although she was responsible for the break up of OJ first marriage to his wife. Other than their race, sometell what is the difference between the women?

Spear, with all due respect ,"He was arrogant" sounds verbatim like ESPN reporters....

@BurningSpearDon'tlike it when black folks condemn other black folks without looking at the evidence intrinsincly....what type of talk is 'he was arrogant'..arrogant about what ??
You should be addressing how sinister this plot is for the NFL to fine Falcon players shows they were looking for a high profile scapegoat its another reminder 'don't step out of line'...you want to know who is arrogant try the prejudiced American legal system who haven't changed a damn thing in the last 200 years
one will need a bigger lie to cover the first one

nah don't get me wrong....
Vick was wrong.
I don't agree with the law....but he knew what he was doing and did it anyway....
..there are just a bunch of other adjectives that person would think of if they heard about the case..."foolish" "stupid" are some...but "arrogant" isn't.
that's the thought of sports reporter not a fan.....
