Default Weekend predictions - 18-01-08, 08:55 PM

Cuz I am bored.

Birmingham v Chelsea

Both of these teams have lost a considerable amount of players to the AOC, but Chelsea signed Anelka, who makes up a lot for the lost Africans. BC will come out swingin', but punks jump up to get beat down by the 'ski. Chelsea in this one late 2-1.

Blackburn v Middlesbrough

The Rovers do not like to play loosely at home as they do on the road. 'Brough is horrible at scoring goals on the road. This just exudes a boring game full of chances that go wide or are missed altogether. Still I go with Blackburn 1-0.

Fulham v Arsenal

The Gunners are playing like a misfiring 8 cylinder. Yep we know the engine has power, but with all of the valves not working in unison, all of the power is not being shown. Still with all of the misfiring, this engine can beat the 4 cylinder it is going up against this weekend that has only 1 cylinder firing at all. Arsenal 3-1 after two Bocanegra mistakes and Adebayor just manhandling them for 1.

Portsmouth v Derby

Derby used to be a push over. Yeah they lose but it is taking teams 80 minutes to beat them now. With Robbie Savage flying around in the middle fouling people with his no talent a$$ and Portsmouth another AOC victim. Derby has a chance.... to lose 3-2 as Portsmouth gets back on track at home to compete for a place in Europe.

Reading v Man Utd

Forget the game. We should all focus on who will score more goals in this game? Ronaldo or Tevez? I have to go with the R as Reading are bound to give him a penalty, but Tevez is going to run freely through these guys as Reading unravels on the first one two pass. Man Utd back to a normal scoreline 3-0

Tottenham v Sunderland

The Totties should win this game 4-0. Knowing the Totties it is going to be 5-3. Why? The Totties love a shootout. F%$* defending, ATTACK!!! 5-3 versus a team that should not score a goal realistically.

Newcastle v Bolton

Change the channel as Newcastle will look to lay blame to someone else after they tie at home to a Bolton team w/o a true forward. 1-1. The Mags have the talent, but something is just not right with this team's soul.

Wigan v Everton

With Heskey missing, Wigan is too light to deal with these guys BUT since this another AOC victim and Bent is capable of scoring the lucky goal. Everton 2-1

Man City v West Ham

The City is getting back into stride as they shut down WH 2-0. I can't see WH scoring a goal in this one. maybe one, but they miss so many chances how can you expect them to score?

Liverpool v Aston Villa

The 'Pool will tie the Villans 1-1 this weekend because they play to level of their opponents. Villa is a good team but are young and will leave the holes there for Liverpool to capitalize but as usual the ball will go over around beside underneath and bounce off of players instead of finding the back of the net. The coach will be questioned and Liverpool's confused players will go to another level of confusion

I'm not sure whether Blackburn can pull this one off, even though they should, so I'm again going for a draw or a Middlesbrough win.

Fulham v Arsenal

Well, nothing more needs to be said. An Arsenal win is on the books.

Portsmouth v Derby

A Portsmouth win, but then again, Derby could give us a surprise for a change.

Reading v Man Utd

I wish Reading would pull this off but to be realistic, a Man U win

Tottenham v Sunderland

A Tottenham win, or a draw

Newcastle v Bolton

I'm going for a draw as both team appear to be clueless at the moment.

Wigan v Everton

An Everton win

Man City v West Ham

A Man City win

Liverpool v Aston Villa

Two team you cannot bet your money on, so I'm going for a draw.

I'm back and ready to attack.

Birmingham -:- Arsenal

Arsenal to draw 2-2. With one eye on getting beaten on Wedneday they wont have the heart to go all out. McCleish team are fighters.
