Only watch the prem. With that being said
Adebayor
Sagna
Clichy
Diarra ( He pretty much told Pompey he is just there to get fit, they still love him)
Babel. Massive potential, whether he fulfills it or not is another thing
Ashley Young. 17 odd assists and about 6 goals. How we laughed when Aston paid £8m. What a waste of money he proved to be!!!!!!!
Anderson/Nani. Both shown good potential, especially the brazilian.
If we can include mixed raced then Ferdinand has been a beast in defence( the only person to easily handle Torres on both occasions)
David James has been a beast in goal
You ever heard of the Golden Rule. He who has the gold makes the rules!
He who asks is a fool for five minutes. He who never asks remains a fool for ever.

just so there's no mistaking, i meant the real madrid diarra. I also thought we could only name african internationals, otherwise my line up would have been different.

Hmm if you mean continental African, I have to say Adebayor. He has stepped up and become the man goal wise in the league. Big Perm was too injured this year and could not do it.
If you we can add Africans in the diaspora to that, I would say David James hands down.
Don't get me wrong. Adebayor has scored a lot of goals this season, but Arsenal can and were winning without him. Remember early in the season, it was the RVP show, then the Fabregas show and then the Adebayor show.
Except with his injury, Portsmouth have been kept in all competitions by David James, sure his penchant for the mistake has let a few teams back into games mentally, BUT this season he has Portsmouth on the edge of European football and we all can see how much they miss him now. Arsenal tied game with Adebayor scoring, Portsmouth are losing games with James missing. They look pathetic without him as Ashdown is clearly his deputy.
Don't get me wrong, I love Ade but I think James beat him out.

I reluctantly picked Adebayor as im not yet convinced about him. I think i could have scored 30 this season with the service he had for his goals. The credit for his success lies with Arsenals style of play and not with his expert eye for goal, positioining or anything like that.

No way, Drogba has MADE several of his own goals, and he didn't score as much this season as he missed half of it through injury. The season before he was top scorer don't forget. Drogba is also more than just a goal scorer his contribution is large and he performs in the big games which Adebayor has yet to prove consistently.
I never forget the time Fabriizio Ravenelli came to Middlesborough, scored 32 goals for them and they were relegated that season. Could Adebayor do the same in a crap team, i doubt it..
