Les Bleus....sad to see U gone... -

It's hardly that of news that France has always been my favs European team ever. Watching them yesteray was kinda sick.....the end of an era.
Raymond Domenech....bye bye....you funny looking f*ck....Domenech was/is still pathetic....
Thuram and Claude Makelele are done.....Makelele to me was the bright and shinning star and light for France yesterday...his never stop defense ability was what kept the Italians.....when both leave, which I think they have played their last game yesterday for France...France and we will have lost two great players....surely, they had their days.....
Patrice Evra and Francois Clerc and Eric Abidal....are rubbish....
Taking out of Samir Nasri for Jean-Alain Boumsong was sh*t...any manager should have known that...but hey, Raymond Domenech has always been nothing without Zidane....
It was really had to watch...Ribery was out of the game and france were well and truly done the second he left the pitch......
Benzema should play outside France, if he wants to be good player..which I think he has the talent to be....Arsenal...
Franck Ribery, Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy, Frey, Sagna, Flamini, Toulalan, Ben Arfa, and Diarra....France unlike England has great young players who can do great things in South Africa....they just need Zidane or Desailly or Deschamp to take over the team...
I left Henry for a reason, I still think he has four to five more years with the Les Bleus...but, one question I have is that....it's crazy to see how once the greatest footballer of his generation has fallen...The fall of Henry after he left Arsenal was just every-where yesterday....to see a player who doesn't have the ability to challenge defenders, run-over them, run behind them, run in-front of them when they couldn't do much against him era of Henry is over...yes, hard to watch, but me thinks he's done.....not the same Henry....
Zidane was the heart....if France doesn't replace Domenech with a good manager..hard to say it, but we wouldn't hear from the French in the next half century....

Thuram and Claude Makelele...announced their final game for France....\
Patrick Vieira is also done....I hope....he has been great....but I don't see him being that important to the team any more....
Also, Willy Sagnol should be done...
Anelka and Govou I still think have a games left on them...

Yep!!..its the end of an era..think it was a mistake dropping Trezeguet...
Thanks for the thrills...its not easy losing a player like Zidane like Argentina after losing Maradona took years for them to be a force again..
Man Portugals weakness at set plays has been their undoing...
one will need a bigger lie to cover the first one

I agree Henry is definately done..in fact all the players mentioned in dispatches should never have been playing ahead of people like Flamini, sagna, Clichy.. I just can't believe that this muppet manager have an unfit Viera in the flippin squad what a plonker... The manager lost france the game period..
And i disagree Anelka is crap, and should not have been in the squad either

I personally have no problem with managers blending the upcoming stars with the older players. The problem in this case is that the french manager gave the older players too many chances even when they were not playing well.
Anelka is a good striker, however based on his crap goalscoring record this year he should never have been in the squad, ahead of Cisse, and Trezequet who have both scored over 15 goals this season.
After the first the french coach should of benched Makalele and brought on Diarra.
In fact after the firts game, he should of revamped the whole midfield.
Though the french sucked in this tournament, I still think they had enough quality to go through, if it weren't for the poor formation.

And my friend who doesn't speak French said...she rejected him...
Youtube....I found the clip in youtube...anyone who speaks French..please could you translate for us...this is legend....

Not that much sympathy for Les Bleu, Team selection was a joke as others have pointed out where was Clichy? Why didn't Evra start the first match, why did he send Flamini home? Abidal in the central defence - wouldn't even have him at first or second choice left back! Too many old timers the balance wasn't right. He should have gone something like this:
--------------------------------------Coupet---------------------------------------------
Flamini-------------------Gallas-----------------------------Mexès------------Evra
--------------------------Diarra----------------------------Toulalan--------------------
-----------------Nasri ---------------------Ribery-------------------Govou------------------
---------------------------------Henry------------------------------------------------------------

I agree.
Also, No Govou....I will play Henry and Benzema..
Toulalan was the one I thought was bad selection..but watching him, he's very good. No Diarra, no Flamini, taking out Nasri when your down was all crazy sh*t.......but looking @ France young players and the England...I still think they are miles ahead......and will surely be In South Africa...with flying young players....

Flamini is a one season wonder. He'll go back to being waste this season
Agree about Abidal. Never liked him and France could feo have done with Clichys energy
I can only assume taht Sagna is still injured otherwise he would have most certainly been in the squad. Didnt see him get shown by 1 oposition player this season for Arsenal. He was brilliant
You ever heard of the Golden Rule. He who has the gold makes the rules!
He who asks is a fool for five minutes. He who never asks remains a fool for ever.

@ Cash
I have to agree with you on Sagna. Even though he was injured we would have to consider him defensive player of the year.
He was solid at that spot and showed why he displaced Eboue.
Still you would have to see that even with Evra on one side and Sagna on the other, you still have Gallas and the relic with him in the middle.......
