On your first question, I'd be surprised if that info is available publically, and where it is available it probably relates to individual local education authority areas rather than the country as a whole. It probably would also relate to results achieved in 2006 at best, maybe earlier. Am curious about the specific interest in those who achieve 3 As, but that's maybe for another time. Don't think 3 or more As is that common an achievement, so 50 might not be that wide of the mark.

Personally would not let the numbers of 'black' students there be the deciding factor in attending Oxford, though its obviously relevant. Spend time there and get a feel for the place - if you think you can hack it, go for it. If what you're after is sheer academic excellence, then Imperial College London has Oxbridge beat these days, from what I read. If what you want is a network and some social cachet as well as a degree, however, then Oxbridge can't be bettered.
