Hi, as i've mentioned earlier, I'm a second year uni student studing business and i've actually got a job interview with a proper blue chip multinational techology company, its been a long and lenghty road n i intend to get this job.

For my uni course i'm required to do a 1year work placement, has anyone been to assesment centres?? what do they expect you to do and what not?? thanks peoples!!

They are going to ask you to do some kind of verbal and maths test, and then you might have an interview, or possibly have one later.

You really should have had it explained to you tbh on a sheet or e-mail explaining where it is.

BTW check rare recruitment for minority internships, milkround to stay in touch with whats happening also.

A site called SHLdirect should give you the kind of tests you need. Read up on the company as well and you should be fine.

Determination, enthusiasm, in depth knowledge of the company, its products, clients etc is a good start. Your appearance is key, and a cv of any past projects. You can also call theHR department and ask them what to expect, I'm sure they will be more than willing to run down their procedures.
