LSE (London School of Economics)
Houghton Street
London
WC2A 2AE
UK

Dear Kevin Haynes,

Thank you for your reply on behalf of the LSE.

1) You said and I quote:

"There is no evidence of institutional racism at any of the LSE's departments academic or non-academic."

Is there any evidence to confirm that none of the LSE's departments academic or non-academic are Institutionally Racist which is the same as White Supremacist?

2) You said and I quote:

"We are not aware that the legislation prescribes a 'correct' number. We are working towards diversifying our staff at all organizational levels."

How will LSE know that LSE has actually managed to diversify staff at all organisational levels and that this work has been successful?

Have any targets been set?

3) You said and I quote:

"Our Equality and Diversity Committee and HR policies provide a School-wide umbrella to ensure that racism in any form or shape is proactively avoided, and if it exists, is effectively addressed."

Does the LSE actually ask prospective staff if they are Racist or not and record their replies?

4) Please would you send me, by post and email, information that shows how many Black and Non-white staff have been distributed throughout the LSE each year since 2002 compared to White staff at all organisational levels.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Kind regards

Derrick Lynch
