Default Courses...need Help - 16-08-07, 07:24 PM

Hey guy's....I was suppose to do Biomedical Science and later on switch to Medicine in the second year..unfortunately I didn't meet the requirements to enter that course..so they switched me to Biomedical Intermatics...(im still yet to research what that entails) but anyway im thinking of rejecting it and doin pharmacology....(the space is reserved for me...all i need to do is to a few bits of paper work then im done).

Do you think it's a good move to switch frm Biomedical to Pharmacology?

If I chose Biomedical /Biomedical Intermatics...what jobs can i do when i graduate?

If i chose Pharmacology what jobs can i do when i graduate?

My A- levels for my standard was digusting...i passed everything.but not in da top boundary...but hey..im still thanking my Lord Jesus.

Bless

Greetings son or daughter.

For those of us who have not been in the higher education system for some time, your post is an interesting insight into the way that things seem to work (and not the first of its kind that I have seen on this messageboard).

I am sorry that you did not achieve the grades required for the degree of your choioce, but do you really intend to plan your career around the answers you get on a messageboard?

Has it occurred to you to pose some of the questions that you raise with the people that actually run the courses concerned or with people already involved in the relevant scientific / medical professions, or even with potential employers?
Don't the course prospectuses give any details of future career paths and employment prospects for each course offered by the instutiton(s) concerned?

Please seek proper advice and also keep in touch with a Pan African Nationalist organisation before, during and after your degree studies.

Most Pan African Nationalist organisations currently offer opportunities for experience working for African liberation and the chance to mentor other Africans while doing so.

I do not know of any that offer "placements/internship" (although you are welcome to check direct with your nearest Pan African Nationalist organisations).

What sort of African liberation "placement" is sought and where in the UK are you either located or prepared to travel?
