Default Anyone know where I can study Philosophy? - 18-08-07, 06:21 PM

Am looking to take up studies on the subject, prehaps this september but really want to study eastern philosophy, western philosophy hasn't got a thing on eastern/african philosophy.

Does any one know of any colleges?

Thanks
Bl

I wanted to know if the Dagara elders could tell the diffrence between fiction and reality. The elders did not understand what a starship is, they did not understand what the fussy uniforms had to do with anything but they recognized in Spock a Kontomble of the seventh planet... they had never seen a Kontomble that big.

Not your normal suggestion, personally I would never pay for a philosophy course.

Toward the end of section 2 John Shirley made a comment about "in The Matrix people are the means of production eventually. This great symbol of people being batteries. While they sleep their bodies are actually batteries that power the city of the robots. This whole mechanical society is a very powerful symbol. They are giving up their very life force." We as "passive consumerists" are being exploited as part of our matrix. Then they cut to the clip of Morpheus telling Neo he is a slave, that he was "born into a prison for your mind".
