Default what will the world look like when we Africans are out of slavery - 17-05-08, 01:45 PM

I was in East Texas two days ago on a gas well site. it was owned by a very pleasant black man of about 60ish...he owned about 2000 acres and had at least two other wells that I saw from the road we traveled in on.

is he a slave..? Is colin powell a slave? are you a slave?

please tell me at what point do I have to stop waiting for whites to raise the white flag and 'smart' blacks to tell me that i am not a slave any more.?

When we're all self determinate not just a few living a mirage in someone else's country abiding to someone else's laws.

I wanted to know if the Dagara elders could tell the diffrence between fiction and reality. The elders did not understand what a starship is, they did not understand what the fussy uniforms had to do with anything but they recognized in Spock a Kontomble of the seventh planet... they had never seen a Kontomble that big.

i define culture as an amorphous thing, that is, you cannot pin it down or easily define it. some may describe it as the civic rituals, institutions and laws that are distinct to one ethnic group or simply the practices that have grown over time....

a culture can be learn't, appropriated, mis-appropriated, forgotten, or spread to other groups. it can also be inherited and rediscovered....

....when many people talk about 'the loss of culture' they describe it as if it is something tangeable, solid as if once lost can never be found again.

but heres a supprise cultures change, adapt, evolve....

i get a bit tired of people saying that their culture was robbed from them.... well then, people, get it back and stop moaning.....
