Anywayz on the topic yeh, i think its hard to say what you would do unless you have been in that situation coz at the end of the day rapist or not the babies still 1/2 urs. I went through all that like last summer and at first my boyfriend was like 'its your fault, you let this happen' etc. but then when hefound out i was pregnant he said it wouldnt matter and he would accept the baby as his own. After hitting 4 months we found out their was a high chance the baby could have disablities and thats when my boyfriendchanged his mind. So i had a termination and even know im in 2 mind about whether it was the right thing to do but having a baby that wasnt trough love and knowing that it was his would have been pretty difficult but i still think any women that keeps a baby after all that is very brave xxx

I know someone who's father raped her mother. Her mother never found out who the attacker was but she decided to keep her baby when she found out she was pregnant. Her daughter is now her best friend. I don't know how they did it, but I guess it goes to prove that love can overcome hate.

personally, I would get an abortion w/out even thinking about it. Besides the fact that I am not prepared in life to rear a child at this moment, I could not bear the thought of carrying a product of such a tramatizing event in my life, even if I knew I was going to give it away, which would also be hard for me to do regardless of if I didn't want to raise it myself.

First off your girl has been raped, thats a serious infringement on a mans ability to protect, not on some macho tip but on a psycological level thats a real tough one to deal with especially if it happened while they were in a relationship together.

Secondly she wants to keep the baby... that makes the first infringement 100x worse, it'd shatter their relationship. The anger, the helplessness involved in resolving the matter is a whole heap for a guy to deal with. Too much. If it happened outside of the relationship then yeah prehaps but otherwise... not to mention a woman would change after such an experience. Would even be a nightmare leaving her but it'd be the baby or the relationship. Simple.

Still... what woman wouldn't go to the doctor to make sure theres no chance of getting pregnant in the first place? Unless shes embarrassed but even then going for a check up makes sence and who would want to keep a child after that?

I can't say for sure, seeing how I've never been unfortunate enough to have been in that situation. ;/
