Pickneyplease! why would we hate?

Most of us sisters are secure about our natrual,if beyonce was secure about the way she looked trust me the blonde weave and make up would not be on her face.But obviously ther are underpressure by the media (mainly driven by men) to maintain a look that God didn't give them.

i dont feel no way bout beyonce and christina cause at the end of the day - its all make up - think about it yeah a lot of us black girls look good nowadays wiv out make up, an i've seen beyonce wivout make up..an it dont look good. dont get me wrong beyonce can sing an all an she is pretty but she aint nothin to hate on, same thing goes for christina, celebrities aint always as pretty as people make out i mean have u seen ashanti without makeup? if u aint den see da attachment

They entertain us with their music, acting etc. and have good voices, they are attractive females even if they have to use make-up to enhance their beauty

People for some reason love to Hate someone, so without these successful attractive women a lot of gurls would be looking for a bad point in others

Instead of saying negative things about other people, just be happy with yourselves and look for the good

to me if you are beutyful you are beutyful, you were born it or matured into it, you cannot stick aload of stuff on you head and on your face and say you somthing your not. If i stuck some wings on a dog could i say it is now a bird.... i think not.

look i have no problem with enhancing your beuty ie make up, hairand stuff,but it can get to a point were it becomes rediculousconfused3

look if i am sat wit my males friends and they are droolin ova a picture of beyonce christina ect saying she is the ish, i have no problem piking her ta pieces ie the weave bla bla bla, i will tell them she is pritty cos she is but minas the weave she aint what she looks like. To me this aint h8tin it is educatin lil boys on reality.

The media is one an illusion that will tell you black is white if you will believe it, beyonce and many of these artists are just another part of this illuison

YES!Thosewomen are very pretty, BUT there are prttier women out there that have darker skin and rarely gt noticed. In my opinion there is far too much hype surroubding these lightskinned womens looks (which isn't surprising as this is all the media is showing). If i put a picture of Beyonce and Lauren hill infront of a panel of males aged 16-25 i personnally think the majority of them would choose Beyonce. Not that all young black men are like this. NO! NOT AT ALL!

PLUS THERE ARE 2 THING THAT REALLY IRRITATE ME!

1.) WHEN A MALE (BLACK) SAYS " I THINK YOUR REALLY PRETTY, INFACT YOUR BEAUTIFUL, BUT YOUR JUST TOO DARK FOR ME! I SAW THIS ON A DOCUMENTARY SEVERAL MONTHS BACK AND AND THE INTERVIEWER (A BLACK WOMEN, SAY THE SAME SKIN TONE AS LAUREN HILL) ASKED A YOUNG MAN IF HE FOUND 'LIGHTSKIN OR DARKSKINNED FEMALES MORE ATTRACTIVE! THIS MALE WOZ THE SAME SKIN TONE AS THE INTERVIEWER! NOW TELL ME THAT THERE ISN'T SOMETHING MESSED ABOUT THAT COMMENT?!

2.) WHEN THERE IS A REALLY PRETTY BLACK FEMALE(FULL) AND A NT ALL THAT MIXED REACE GIRL (REALLY NOT THAT GOOD LOOKING) AND THE BOY IS CHATTING TO HER! I MEAN YES THAT MAY BE HIS PREFERENCE LIKING A LIGHTSKINNED MIXED REACE GIRL, BUT SOMETIMES IF IT'S JUZT BASED PURELY ON THE FACT THAT SHE HAS LIGHTER SKIN THAN HER FRIEND, YET NT AS PRETTY (EVEN THOUGH,YES HE MAY FIND HER PRETTY. OR NT!), I FIND HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL!

I THINK THEY ARE EQUALLY AS PRETTY! I DEFFINATLY PREFER LAUREN MUSICALLY THO!

I don't think Christina is trying to be like Beyonce.They both are beautiful and they are both doing their thing. As for people hating. STOP IT! I'm not saying that everyone must like them but some people hate because of stupid reasons.

As for theperson writing aboutthe man that said the girl was beautiful but dark, I believe that. I use to talk to this black man and henever liked dark skin girls. Hetalked about Puerto Ricans and lightskin black women.Wherever you goin the Caribbean or in America, black men love their"brown skinned" womenor their "red bones."confused3
