Before I start, this is not a statement or an opinion, or a criticism. its merely a question.
I've lived in south london all of my life but recently due to university, I've spent a lot more of my time inEast london.
Not only that but I've made quite a few friends inNorth london too and I've notcied a great difference between the black boys/men I encountered in south london and the ones I've encountered in North and East london. Many of the black men in south london act as if the mere thought of dating a black woman is a travesty in itself. and a dark skinned black woman? oh heeeeell naw! But the men i've met further afield seem to embrace black women and refer to them as if they are queens. Every black man I've come across in east has seem concious and has his head screwed on right where as the guys I've met from south seemed to have abandoned their culture. why is that?

Soulstarr.... If this is yet another IR thread...I'm going to delete it. If it is about IR dating....I suggest you add your comments to one of the numerous threads on this subject. Thanks.

Its nothing to do with IR at all. In my opinion, who you date is your own business. My point is why Black Man in south london are almost ashemed by thier own culture where as in the north/east london, it seems quite the opposite but i guess you wouldnt notice that anyway.

I guess further afield was the wrong pghrasing. i'm just tstating what I've noticed having lived in South London all of my life.
And just for the record, I LOVE dark skinned black men. Every man i've ever been out with have been dark skinned. its my preference. The darker the better in my opinion and I'm not light skinned in the slightest.

lol! south london isn't a bad place to live at all really. i just get a bit tired of the mentality of my generation a lot of the time. especially the ones that have a total disregard for their culture.
