The notion of a war against Islam is utterly ridiculous to a person who regularly stimulates the ciritical faculties of his mind. During this era, sciences such as astronomy, medicine, philosophy, chemistry, and mathematics achieved new heights.The subjectpeoples of the Arab conquestswere not forcefully converted to the religion of Islam, rather, they were taxed and allowed to achieve prominent statuses among the administrative and cultural elite.Muslims, at that time, were the vanguards ofcivilization itself, while Europe was enveloped in superstition andpreoccupied withbarbarian hordes bent on annihilation.While it is readily admitted by any Muslim that such a time has long since passed, andthe affects of stagnation over the years has rendered a once flourishing civilization, for the most part, a mere cultural backwater, the chains of theocratic systems of government are now beginning to breakand a new era is just over the horizon - set to bring the Arab world into the forefront of the technological era, provided that the long-oppressed scientific spirit contained within every Arabhas not altogether diminished.



Terrorism is the result of religious-minded individuals whose literal and retarded interpretation of their holy book - in this case, the Koran -has misguided them into committing horrible acts of blatant stupidity - essentially accomplishing nothing as a result. Assoon as fundamental-preaching clerics aresilenced or rendered harmless, we cangetpassed this phase and moved toward a brighter future. We can achieve this either bypeaceful means, or by force. These 'evil-doers' have accomplished nothing, really, either than spreading hatred and debasing the peaceful religion of Islam in a rather horrid fashion.
