Yes..teenage pregnancy is becoming a great problem in south London, not only is it wrong but it does limit the opportunities that you might get in life as a young teenager, as the born child would need to be put into consideration in every decision made.
However having enough support from the family and the the father of the child may lighten the situation.

Pregnant teenagers or teenagers having babies being called hoes and sluts etc.. is totally wrong.....

Although it is wrong for teenagers to get pregnant i would also say that every child given to them is a blessing...as they are a gift from God.

As an 18 year old female i seriously would prefer to wait before having children as i would want to go university, have a decent job with good income..and wonderful God fearing husband...and by the grace of God it will come to pass.

Bless

Children Having children.. not the ideal situation. but it really depends on the person. who they are, where theyve cone from and who they have around them. i dont think its "channel u and mtv" thats causiing teenagers to have sex, it may encourage more degradation towards women but i think its more to do with social environment and influencs.

and example of is this ....i reckon about 15 people from my year group alone have had children by the age of 20, boys and girls alike. this is not include the number of aleged abortions etc. some are even on their second. One girl that i kno was messing about in school (education wise), fell pregnant at 15, left school, the baby's father was here n there and her mother didn want to know and asked her to leave. she had another a couple of years later by someone else and now smokes for the better part of her days

Another example of this is myself. did above average in school, but towards the end started to hang about with some dossers, so didnt do as well as i should have. This trend continued into college and i eventually left. sat about for a couple of months then became pregnant. told mother, dissapointed, but got over it as many have already said 'children are a blessing' and was glad i didnt have an abortion.

year later, went back to college, went on to uni, n now on course for a 1st. so to whoever said the teenage mother collective was throwing away their education and their future, I may be an exception but its proof that it can be stil done. i see so many people around me from school etc. that are lacking in employabilty and education that haven't had any children, they throw away their future out of choice but no1 gets on their back the way teenage mothers get it. yeah i didnt have a clue about raising a child but its a natuaral learning process. my child isnt , 'unruly', not treated as an 'accessory' and i dont buy 'a pair of timbs' over a pack of nappies. As far as i'm concerned, having a baby at a young age hasn't halted my future, its given me a kick up the backside to get up in the morning and do something with my future cos i'm responsible for someone elses. and s and yeah i'm a couple of years off track, cant go out when i want or miss the odd lie-in but at the end of the day its given me a new lease of life.

in saying all that, im not saying getting preg young is not problematic but life is what you make it. ideally, i would like to have got my education first at the least and beeen finacially secure, but i didnt live in an ideal world. one thing that has kept me going is family support. alot of young parents dont have anyone, and this is where the domino effect begins. Whats this all about girls getting turfed out iin the street when they tell their fam the pregnant. how can u expect someone to care and have any morals and values if they hav none around them. there is no main cause of teenage preg'cies but i think there are 3 main things to consider

social and faimilial environment
the uprising of the 'channel u' 'mtv' generation - mysoginistic lyrics. 'all women are bitches and all bitches are hoes' sort the boys out, need to be more educated that sex causes pregnacies and not just to fulfil a need. all women are not hoes and therefore shouldnt be treated like they are. generally, boys seem to feel that the they can relinquish responsibilty, says its not theirs or jus disappear something needs to be done to instill better morals into young men.

our nanny state - britain has the highest teen pregancy rate... council house, housing benefit, free milk, dole. there's always that contingency in the mindset of some.. "well if i do have the baby, i'll get this, and this and this..." if they know its there, they'll be able to take it

well i don't think mtv, bet etc are solely to blame, but they are contributors to the situation..........but we have to remember that we are drawing nearer to the last days and the bible says *in the last days children will e havung children*
