Apoligies for the crassness of the heading
It seems this view has been perpetuated by the likes of Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z in rap videos and I know five years ago when I was 16 I had that mentality when going out with girls and as a result didnt treat them as well as I should have, which I now regret
I was just wondering if any other mans around my age were almost ostrechised(spelling?) by there peers if it seemed like they were too into there girls
On the flipside, did any females around my age ( I'm 21 by the way) feel that at 16/17 that their mans were putting on an act for there boys and a seperate one for yourselves
And do you think it still goes on?
Maybe it was just peeps I hanged out with that were like that but I doubt it
Any replies will be appreciated
Peace

oh my gosh.
Well my friend used to see this guy. Theywhet out for a while but it all ended in tears.
When he was around his friends he was a little ruff neck(lol - sorry but he was!!). When it was just us 3 or him and my friend hewas the sweetest thing. Even down to his voice. It changed. All the u get meees and **** dis and **** dat disappeared. He was gentle, kind, soft, considerate and really a lovely man who could stand still. Anyone who knows will know that young men while around their frineds seem to find it amazingly difficult to stand still.
Anyway we used to sit down in the park and we would chill and chat and laugh and whatever else.
When he was around his friends he was a bit of a control freak, switchy, mouthy little shit. He was rude to her, unkind, slightly abusive at times and a lot of the time way out of line. He also never showed any kind of affection.
As you may have guessed she got sick of the change in him, liked the 'good' side but hated the 'bad' side. It didnt last long.
So yes men do see to have 2 sides. Not all becuase i have knows guys that cant wait to show u off and hold ur hand in front of their boys. But they do seem to be tho older men.
See there it is again. We hold each other down and back from sucess and have to be almost failures to be accepted. With some things anyway.

One of my friends is proper into his girl, who is white. But the way he goe on around us, you would think she just one sket who is 'giving a pounding'. so much fronting its unturue
Jay-z touched on the pharell tune
Everytime your name was brought up
I would act all nonchalant infront of an audience
Like if you was just another shorty I put the naughty on
But uh, truth be told you do me for a loop, this Hov
I'm too old to be frontin when I'm feeling Denzel
And you acting like you ain't appealing when you are
Stunting like you ain't my only girl when you are (I was just frontin)
I'm ready to stop when you are

following on from this topic about the change of behavoiur in man, why is it that they are so kind considerate and thoughtful when trying to chat a girl up and then once the honeymoon stage is over they want to switch and go on nasty (then they wonder why us girls go on the way we do)

...OMG It only happens around 16/17???? And then what happens you magically grow up?
Palease, I was in relationships at that young age nothing serious but I have had boyfriends in my teen years and they were decent. They never bought into the "I'm a pimp" stupidity, they respected me and tended to show me more love and respect when they were with their friends...and of course you have the dickheads. And this is only in your teens? no stupid men with bad training exist in all age groups, these rappers you idolized were they 16/17? No, they were 25+ and there are also rappers 25+ like Common or Mos Def who aren't like that, my experience of men's attitudes haven't changed much since that age. I meet guys that want to settle down and get married approaching me and I have guys the same age wanting to add me to their 'conquered list'.
And as far as your friend going on like the girl is a hoe, well first off he is going out with a white girl so that shows his level and to disrespect her lying to himself and you that he don't have feelings for her he's just stupid and he's about your age right? It's happens, dickheads are in every age group.
