@Sassylady
On a more serious tip, I remember one year when it was my birthday and I hadn't planned anything and nothing was said about it or arrange. To my surprise my hubby came to get me from work early (he had arranged the whole thing with my colleagues behind my back) and drove me to a Travel Agent and there on the table was 3 choices and I could pick anyone and he would pay for it.
1. A weekend trip to New York
2. A weekend trip to Paris
3. A ticket to a theater or a meal.
He had already packed a small weekend bag for us both and had them in the cab that he picked me up from work in. I picked the meal because who needs Paris or New York when you just want to get a man like that home prompto......I think that was one of the first where I skipped starters and dessert he he.
Between me and you a weekend in New York or Paris is not enough when it comes to shopping so why start something you can't finish that also helped me to choose the meal.....other factor of course were at play.blkssh

Mafdet, do you think he knew what option you were going to choose?

Yes I think he did have an idea because he came to pick me up in the outfit that I swear was created with him in mind ....and he knows I love seeing him in that outfit just as much as I love taking it off him..(Black men look so good in Black...don't they).so I don't know what Paris and New York was all about, so there was only oneoption for me and that was to get some foodto refuel on engery for the night time.niceone.gif

it depends what you want after youve romanced her, most people that romance their partner hope it will also lead to sex, if you want to romance your partner and then (make love) you have to find out what she would like, theres no point renting a hotel and a bed full of rose petals if she will prefer candles and a abr of chocolate!

Nothing! I like to be romanced not do the romancing to be truthfully bluntely.....the closest thing I would do is cookhim a romantic meal THAT IS IT the rest I wouldn't call it romantic more like sexy which I will not disclose.

i am 2damnsexy not mizz_precious
me and my man just broke up so if i were romancing him id punch him in the center of his face (LOL) no not really i couldnt pundnt punch him id wait for my dad to do it. i know for a fact he likes dark rooms with a fewscented candles, and his gyal in some sexy lingerie, fresh out the bath, with a hint of purfume
sad i know... still gotto love him though
so for romance id give him what he likes rather than what i like

As a Sista that sounds really romantic to me! What I'd like to know is though if you go ahead and take more than one woman to the same venue/location. If you kept each place as some sort of special place for each individual woman then that would REALLY be romantic!! As if the mere mention of that particular location would invoke memories of a particular woman! Hmmm!!
For me, I don't mind romancing a man - they're humans too after all. As long as they pick up on the vibes to take control. The idea is not to emasculate them, just make them feel special too in a different, quirky way
I find that (depending on the man) talking on an intellectual level, mixing in elements of the imagination and a bit of story telling tends to get the ball rolling. Listening intently about them, cooking a meal, a massage (of the physical, mental and emotional) and writing them something really personal like a poem is sweet.
Idon't think that this is a desperate attempt to 'bag-a-man' but I do believe that it is important to reach out without forgetting differences and equality.

A poem from the heart, a home made video about the one you love 'this is your life style', a massage with candles and massage oils is always real nice!!
Oh a shopping spree is also very nice...what woman can resist!!
Anything imaginable is possible!!

@Fernando, Awww...just goes to show that doing something fun comes right up alongsidepassion...would you say the fact that it was a surprise made it more memorable? Would you want your lady to do something romantic for you? What would you say is the ultimate romantic thing she could do for you?
