Chat up lines are a load of rubbish they are fake, rehearsed and immature and therefore if they are used by a man they must reflect his mentality and attitude. MOST not ALL but MOST men do not have the correct approach when it comes to girls. One thing i CANNOT stand is when a guy shouts at you from down the road and across the street Yow, Yush, Pssssst, Oy, Ey gal......etc... those attention seeking 'greetings' make me sick to the stomach.

Chat up lines are so obvious and a real turn off, (I have a man so do not respond to no chirp no matter how eloquent or charming, I'm Stush with a capital S) LOL, I prefer a man to speak whats on his mind at the same time maintaininga respectful disposition. Confidence is a definite turn on (but some men cannot differentiate between confidence and arrogance). Something cheeky or humorous will always do the trick, if you make me laugh ur halfway there. Do not be too familiar and do not make any vulgar remarks or suggestions.

Please do not holler at me from the passenger side of your friends/brothers/cousins/ ride I may just vomit on you. Please do not tell me about how much papers (money) u have, how much the rims on ur car cost, how much designer clothes u have etc... I'M NOT INTERESTED.

Obviously physical attraction accounts for alot but after that personality has to do all the hard work. My advice to a guy is be yourself, ur personality will do the rest.

You sound like you are trying to hard toget a formula - just chill and be ureself. Cos if you try your best to make a girl laugh, and you aint being natural, it will flop!

I like it when a bredda jus comes up and chats to me. My present man came up to me in the wash house, saw I was wearin a Man U top& just started talkin about football, then he invited me to cum watch a match wid him and his friends. However it all depends on the girl. Some girls like to be flattered & told they look beautiful, others find it a turn off.

anyways, my question is not regarding the actual approach a guy may use himself, but what do you girls think of when we come up in a double team i.e. one guy comes to talk to one girl, and his friend simultaneously approaches the friend walking with you, so as to distract her attention, or maybe because he just took a liking to her too!
Do you prefer him to come alone or to have the friend run interference?

Nicky, if there is nothing to say, then there is nothing to say. Forcing a conversation is even more uncomfortable than sitting in silence. Also a person who can sit in silence tends to be more comfortable about themself, and have calmness about them. Not everybody likes someone who can yap all day about trivial nonsense.

How can you bore someone if you have nothing to say anyway. It's the other persons lack of imagination that is boring them.
