Should the death penalty be reinstated in dis country?

The prison system. I think that in certain cases people should be put on the death penalty if a paedophile rapes and kills a young girl. why waste tax payers money and put them in jail get rid of dem or at least castrate them!

my reasoning is there read wat i said again. to kill someone just to save money is barbaric but if ther is sufficient enough a reason like a paedophile sexual assualting a 6 year old and then murdering them i think is enough of a reason.

Then Lady Freedom..I think you need to reflect on your thoughts a bit more, what will killing a peadophille achieve...nothing in my view.. Not even the savings you seem to think what about those peadophilles with family or when the victim is ther own children as it usually is... Not only does that child have to live with the damage of unlawful sex, they then have to live with the fact that their Father was killed by the state because of their evidence and their participation..

Sorry what you advocate will make things worse not better, more dangerous not safer..the state murder of people is a contradiction fullstop..

Just to clarify Lady_Freedom meaning freedom of speech. A dead child can not live with the factthat their father got killed by state their DEAD.

Lady Freedom...If you understand my point then you get why the death penalty won't work... Castrating a peadophille is a complete waste of time, people who abuse children do so to get the gratification of 'power' not sexual pleasure.. So cutting off their dick will not stop people Abusing children that is a given... The point of prison is to make safe, punish and rehabilitate...

If you take away that possiblity you make this society a much more dangerous place period..thats my point..

I'm feelin da point u made bout da death sentence coz sum ppl do deserve it.

If we dnt punish,asmuch as we can, sick ppl like criminals of multiple serious crimes den der friends out der r gon tink dey can do ol dashit dey wnt and dey'l live 2 c anotha day. If we re introduce da death penlaty i'l bet u dey'l b way less crimes.

We need to protect our lives,dis country against all harm and if dat wot it takes den yeh, i'm ol 4 it.

bcoz if we execute really serious criminals, their fellow criminals wud b mor scared 2 try anything dat wud get dem executed so yeh we'd definetely b safer frm deranged lunatics.

Ok..can I put this question for you to answer...America has the death penalty, Texas for instance has one of the highest execution rates of all the american states..yet America still has the highest murder rate on the globe possible only second to Azania and or Russia... So if your hypothesis were true why doesn't the death penalty 'scare' people from committing murders and homicide? can you see the contradiction in your idea?

i c ur point......but as we ol no america is also da country wid da biggest loonies and drunks.....so half da time dey probably dnt no wot der doin'. Or maybe dey tink dey can outsmart the authorities.
