Laydee Frenzy - as long as you know that it's not right when it comes to writing your essay.

See that right there, is what happens to those generally still in education. Theirlevel of English slips andtheyend up failing written exams because they think they're texting a friend. There are people who just can't differentiate when the 'text form' should and shouldn't be used.
Personally, I can't stand it.

@ Nevaeh
Na, I definately don't use txt lingo when it comes to exams and things, god that would be stupid. I check and re-check. Imagine failing an exam just because in some words you forgot to put in vowels. I would be kicking myself.

laYd33_FrEnZywrote: Basically, what I do when im textin and tryin to cram everythin i wanna say in, I just take all the vowels out of words:
- doe though
- 4rt thought
- cz 'coz
- bt but
- nar/na no
- jus just
- du do you
Not that I want to sound like a school teacher, but there are two vowels in doe, two in nar/na, one in jus and one in du. Incidentally, wouldn't it be quicker to write no!
This is a whole new language to me as well, I spend more time trying to work out what the person is trying to say that it takes me longer to read it and it would definatley take me longer to write.
@Camille
I was thinking the same thing for such words as nar/na why not just type no . I can understand trying to say alot with a few characters in text messaging but to use a slang word with more characters such as NAR asoppossed to the proper words with less characters such as NO ....is just plain stupid.
