Myaunt once mentioned to me that we tend to dance from the waist down whereas white dance from the waist up LOL Had me in stitches but led to make my own obserbations.

Her view waslil simplistic maybe but I think dancing with our waists may be more like it. I mean Asian dance with their hands and stuff (even seen a Bollywood movie?) whites skip about like that Riverdance dude (quite leggy infact with stiff arms and back) or those Germans in Lederhosen who slap with hands and skip about but we dance with our waists mainly I think with particular emphasis with females on dancing with their asses.

Its not strictly true i.e. many tribal dances involve all sorts like bouncing and kicking or fighting simulations etc and breakdancing is everything but I meant in general...

As for being offended by shaking asses?

I have no complaints!! LOL Its all good.

In those circumstances their character can be brought into question. But there is nothing wrong with 'getting down' with the crowd when the party is kicking and everyone is shaking loose.......with cloths on of course.

I love to dance. When I got to college I started going to clubs and parties. I'd grind (dry hump as you call it) with guys on the dance floor for hours. I consider it dancing, just with more fun. I never let them put me on the floor or anything (like some couples do and mimic sex). For some reason I get a rush from grinding. That kind of dance is commonplace here. I don't know if I got called a "hoe" or not. Probably some girls whispered it because they were hating. LOL the guys wouldn't do it, they'd be trying to grind with me! banana.gif

Some these dances these dances look like simulated sex acts.
Many people think they are harmless but I take offense with them. Even at the carnival you see middle aged+ women and kids whining without a care in the world. The movements are too similar to sex acts for my liking.
