Why does guys always ask this question? Does it really make a difference as long as the person is disease free? I mean if a guy is talking to a girl and he really likes her, what does the number of guys she's been with in the past have to do with anything? I am a firm believer that both sexes should have respect for their bodies, but people make mistakes. So what do you guys think, should the number matter?

Well, I think it's a double standard that most of us men are guilty of. We usually don't wanna be in a relationship with a woman who has been with a lot of men. But if she's hot then we have no problem to sleep with her.

Sex is one thing. All women are ****able, but you don't datea woman that has slept with TONS of men.

My boyfriend has never asked me this and he better not even consider it. I agree that it doesn't matter as long as your partner is now disease free and sleeping only with you (both of which are me). So, unless he wants to be injured it better not ever come up. He can ask me how many people I've dated but I won't have an answer anyway because I lost count a long time ago.

My boyf asked mea few months ago and I didn't give him an answer, I just said 'Enough to know what I'm doing in the bedroom' and we left it at that. We kinda touched upon how mnay women he'd slept with, but I really don't care.

So long as we're both happy together and STD free - then who's business is it anyway? We treat one another with love and respect and what I did before I met him is effectively none of his business, unless it's going to directly affect him (which it's not). He's not with me because of how many men I have or haven't had sex with.

I think its a question that comes up, especially if ur a jealous person. By absolute fluke Im a gorgeous virgin coz no-one was diggin me at all in school. Now I get respect off guys coz they think im "clean" but it still offends me when guys ask me unless I really love them because its like they are trying to find out what girl Iam.I dont mind a guy with a past as long as there is some long term relationships there to show some kind of stability. I know good looking guys round my end who have slept with All of my friends and they cheat on people and get diseases. When they step to me there is no way I would go there so im probably guilty of judging too.

I guess it's like that question of asking a new partner when last they had sex where women always say at least three months....the time it takes to flush the old blokes remains from their system.

Iit's not a nice question but can it beseen as a sign or a reflection of the honesty in a relationship....suppose it's better to answer indirectly than to lie but it also shows how ashamed the donor of the indrect answer really is. But still, just imagine, nuff peoples mothers used to be the living run around busy body girls in their days....what's that saying again 'Like mother like daughter'...ohthe same applies to the men as well

I thought it normally says something about a person, not everything but something, depending on how much ppl u have slept with.

Also I find that most virgins are quick to let ppl know about it, and ppl that have only had few partners in the past, few in my terms meaning 2 - 5, tend to be more open about it.

Could it just be, that those ppl putting up the defense mechanism are the ones that are ashamed of their past or have had more than a few??????confused3

if u look at all da peeps dese days, so many yung ppl hav been havin so many partners it gets kinda sick. i noe so many nikkas who've been wid like 10 diff guys at least n dere just finished high school.

i think numbas do count, not sayin it has ta be in a certain range, but shyt, have a really high numba n im not gna want ta slleep wid chu. the more ppl someones slept wid, da more risk there is of diseases n shit. plus u know dat man/woman isnt dat hard to get in bed..which isnt a good thing.
