ok, so a few questions: why do black men..young and old "size" each other up once they see another black man/woman?

is it a sign of respect or disrespect? a black man walks into a place with another black person and they immediately look at each other as if to say..yeah look at me, or to say..dont even try it "bruv" kinda look. or they wanna observe what he's wearing. first thing they do is look at shoes etc..isnt that so materialistic and confrontational?

then the second thing is when a black guy is driving, and wants any other black guy in a car or on the street to take notice of him, hence he will even go as far as leaning in under the rear mirror to take a peek at the black guy standing on the road or walking by as if to say "have you seen me"?? why is this? i noticed an excellent exhange few weeks ago, the same thing happened, and the blk guy in the car was boppin his head and making it his main purpose for those few seconds waiting at thetraffic lightsthat the blk boy saw him, the guy was driving a golf GTI, then a car pulled up beside him and the boy on the road pointed the blk guy in the car making a fool of himself to look over to his right..where a £150,000 bently had pulled up beside him, and the white guy driving that clocked on and then began to bop his head too..lol it was a classic..everyone found it funny..except the embarrassed golf driver of course.



anyways, comparing the way blk people in say...the south of the US say hi to each other regardless of if they know them or not, and to how its such a feeling of tension amongst the british boys...why is this? or am i just a confuised outsider.?

look, i'm not professing to be any sort of gangster cause i don't play like that. i feel that i am part of a majority of black males who don't play the 'sizing-up' game. my point was about the generalising of us all! that's what got me worked up!
