Best place to meet the opposite sex?

I'm new here, but I'm gonna jump into the thick of it by asking: where is the best place to meet the opposite sex? I'm looking a girl and I've spoken to to few people about clubs and they all tell me you won't find any good (?)girls in clubs, because everyone just goes there to get pi$$ed and dance.

So where else? The street/shopping centre, work-place, in a shop (person working there?), house party/get together, bars, etc?

I don't go to college any more so I won't mention there, so what about the places above?

I'm probably sounding slightly desperate aren't I?

Depends what you want them for...

Though generaly if you're serious then Id say through somebody you already know and trust. An introduction thing.

As Drunk said, it depends.

Best option for many have been that the people you already know, know others who would like to meet you.

College/Uni are also some goodplaces to meet those who arethe sameage, same career like, same likes, and believe me the choices are plenty.

Its all depends on your luck dear.....Hmmm, i am no Forest Gump, but i believe love..just like life, it can belikea box of chocolate, you never know what you may get......How many people do you know who have had the perfect...we fit blahh blahh from the beginning of a relationship??

So really just broaden your horizons....do things you enjoy and give yourself time to enjoy those people you meet without thinking about relationships too much.....otherwise you might come across as desperate

You might meet them anywhere.....absolutly anywhere....

I met one of the funniest guy i know in a club...he even made my mates laugh....and my friendscan beworse than the Gestabos.....

blktypehey i given this some thought some years ago cos i was not meetin ne men at all, your friends rite most ppl dwn where i live go 2 the clubs so they cn pull but this rly depends wat kinda club u go 2.I actually pull most of my men wen im on buses or trains so i dont know what that says about me! confused3but i get off subject you want 2 meet a nicepersonu get anintroduction of a friend i fink newayz!

mm really depends.

but any girl I meet in the club. The relationship endz there. and If i have to take her its for a one night stand. cant turn a club girl to a wifey..

Are you insinuating that girls who go out clubbing are hos?
Can't a wifey material girl go out to the club with her friends simply to have a good time, or is she suppose to stay home on the weekends cooped up in the house? some of you men are beyound hilarious. I myself am not looking to meet a man in the club, but it's not because I think all the men who goes to clubs are dogs, its just not the place I would go looking to meet someone. On the other hand I have met one of my most closest and the realest guy friend I have in a club before, soit just goes to show. Don't go around knocking all the girls in the club, not because its not the place you would go looking for your future wife.

Well i would say best place to meet the opposite sex is at work, but not your work place

... lol it's got to be your mates work place...i'll explain

Most of the black people who work for the same company i workfor...know each other very well and 80% of us socialise together. Once a month we organise a big Friday after work link up where every one isallowed to invite their friends, this is when they all bring their brothers, uncles, cusins,uni friends, ex work mates...you get my point...

Now if you are my friend and i invited you... and one of my collegue invited his friend as welland they happen to like each otherthen very cool... but make sure you yourself not to link up with your collegues friend... TROUBLE... it's got to be your friends collegue friend...
