Ok, this is a mad topic but I think it one I cant get to grips on and cant understand!
I am from Jamaica and my parents as well, and also Barbados and America. I spoke to this girl from Nigeria recently and she told me her opinions on Jamaician girls. She was hatin big time and basically told me, why her mother and her family would never accept a Jamaician girl into their family. I was disguisted that people actually thought this way and wanted to now how people felt on this subject that has been going around about Caribbean Vs. African.
She basically said they have a stereo-typical assumption that Jamaician gilrs, all have died coloured weaves and are ghetto etc. Does anyone have any views on dis?
I would just like to add another point, I went on a website recently and looked-up black people killed in prison and police custody. The list was exhaustive. Peps look it up, it will enlighten you! Does anyone have any views on this?
So many people out there are devils in disguise!

i dont know why this is, but, i think it's mainly nigerians vs jamaicans (i do not mean to offened anyone). this always happens at school, and they always have a huge debate/argument/fight over it. i think its because those are the two prominant countries when you look at the caribbean and africa

maybe the nigerian girls parent should look at the slackness and nastiness portrayed every day on big brother by makosi.

Not sure about the two ethnicities in England but in the States I've seldom seen the two groups of females interact much. Being a Westerner I find Jamaican Girls more approachable in regards to convo and friendliness, I find that I've always had to break the ice with Nigerian women. I think being that each group is pretty much the most influential in their respective spheres that there would be some headbutting, head busting and other petty crap.

the point i am trying to make is that jamaicans are portrayed as one of the same. all lazy, drug dealing, gun blasting, knife carrying, bad tempered, chip on the shoulder b*stards by the actions of a small few. i could trot out a few home truths about africans too, but i am not like that, and judge people on an idividual basis.
if the african friends parents are like that, then i'll be the same to fools like that, and give them a taste of their ownn medicine.
damn facety gits.

Damn!...... The low expectations were that blatant? Its funny how from place top place the opinion of groups tend to change drastically. In the US Caribbean Blacks are expected to be the more Mathematically inclined out of all Black groups, colored hair or not.
What do GCSE's determine, is it used for college admissions?
